I do like it too, but not more than the caracal.
Yeah, the Caracal is cool! I've seen them irl and they look so elegant! and they're very unique as far as cats go! I personally somehow thought they looked a little like dogs!
It was at the same place I saw: Genet. You want to talk unique? The genet looks so cool! Would anyone be against their inclusion??

Wouldn’t be one I would be opposed to getting, but very far down on my wishlist.

but very far down on my wishlist.
I get that! They are mid level for me. In that I'd probably be pleasantly surprised by their inclusion! I just think (depending on species) they could add representation outside of Africa even. Their closest relative in game is the binturong so we don't really have anything too like them...

Ceratinly not me. I would be pretty happy about them actually. Would be a nice addtion to nocturnal houses, which still lack a nice roster imo

Would love to see them for another nocturnal themed pack, quite easy to forget about less popular animals like the genet.

So, without the NA I can almost second this, but would switch the Addax with the Sand Cat.
I'm sorry, I love cats, but they are Frontiers weakest spot model wise.
Oh I totally get it, I love canines, but the dhole is just alright to me, so even though it makes me a little sad to want to cut it, I'm still glad we got it.

I had a thought for @Marvinb about the scenery to animal packs - you could make it so that the animals "added" were not from subsequent DLC.

SEA: proboscis monkey, tapir, dhole
North America: moose, beaver, arctic fox
Wetlands: platypus, wild water buffalo, spectacled caiman
Grasslands: striped hyena, maned wolf, armadillo
Arid: wild ass, rhino, dama gazelle

Yeah that could work.
So if you guys want to you can try it :)

Awesome! Some are definitely easier than others at this point

Arctic - Wolverine, Muskox, Arctic Hare
South America - Black Howler Monkey, Coatimundi, Spectacled Bear
Australia (admittedly this one's tough now) - Numbat, Tiger Quoll, Hairy Nosed Wombat (either one)
Aquatic (also tough now!) - Australian Pelican, Walrus, Sea Otter
Africa - Masai Giraffe, Hamadryas Baboon, Secretary Bird
Europe - Wild Boar, Wisent, Mute Swan
Conservation - Matschie's Tree Kangaroo, Sagia Antelope, Golden Takin
Twilight (another one that is difficult now) - Aye Aye, African Civet, Virginia Opossum
Tropical - Shoebill Stork, Common Squirrel Monkey, Brazilian Porcupine
Oceania (another one that is difficult now) - Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo, Western Grey Kangaroo, Freshwater Crocodile

So that's 4 of the 10 that are difficult for me to even add 3 more animals. Another couple (Arctic, Europe,) I could get to 3 more but if asked beyond that, I probably couldn't come up with more. Conservation I could probably have more but would have to think on what exactly. But Tropical, South America and Africa are where I could easily fit in several more packs worth.

Arctic: Wolverine, musk ox, canada goose
SA: tegu, mara, coati
Australia: Echidna, black swan, pelican
Aquatic: Walrus, puffin, alligator snapper
Africa: Secretary, hamadryas, guereza
Europe: Mallard, white stork, wild boar
Conservation: central american spider monkey, golden takin, black howler
Twilight: afrcian civet, aye aye, agouti
Tropical: red jungle fowl, yellow throated marten, red footed tortoise
Oceania: Tree kangaroo, numbat, victoria crowned pigeon

i guess thats mine. Funnily enough i had a harder time doing this that the first one :D
Edit: Dang, thought agoutis were nocturnal. I guess treeroo and agoutis swap places then lol

Arctic: northern adder (to give an exhibit animal), muskox, walrus, mountain hare
South America: golden lion tamarin, collared peccary, Patagonian mara
Australia: short-beaked echidna, greater bilby, black swan
Aquatic: sea otter, Dalmatian pelican, Humboldt penguin
Africa: eastern black-and-white colobus, Kirk’s dik-dik, hammerkop
Europe: western capercaillie, European wildcat, wild boar
Conservation: Père David’s deer, saiga, kākāpō
Twilight: Japanese raccoon-dog, Virginia opossum, white-tailed deer
Tropical: white-faced saki, roseate spoonbill, Visayan spotted deer
Oceania: Goodfellow’s tree-kangaroo, New Zealand fur seal, crocodile monitor

This was difficult! I decided to look at it less as what three animals I would remove persay, and rather what species I considered to make the strongest four habitat species roster. The result:
South-east Asia Pack - Sun bear, binturong, proboscis monkey & north Sulawesi babirusa (dhole, tapir & clouded leopard removed)
North America Pack - Cougar, moose, California sea lion & American alligator (beaver, prairie dog & fox removed)
Wetlands Pack - Platypus, capybara, Asian small-clawed otter & red-crowned crane (lechwe, water buffalo & caiman removed)
Grasslands Pack - Red-necked wallaby, nine-banded armadillo, maned wolf & emu (hyena, caracal & wildebeest removed)
Arid Pack - African crested porcupine, dromedary, addax, black rhinoceros (wild ass, sand cat & gazelle removed)

And for what I’d add to scenery packs to turn them into animal packs:
Arctic Animal Pack - Mountain hare, wolverine, musk ox, viviparous lizard
South America Animal Pack - South American coati, greater rhea, Patagonian mara
Australia Animal Pack - Short-beaked echidna, greater bilby, perentie
Aquatic Animal Pack - Pig-nosed turtle, mute swan, Australian pelican
Africa Animal Pack - Hamadryas baboon, helmeted guineafowl, grey-crowned crane
Europe Animal Pack - Wild boar, beech marten, white stork
Conservation Animal Pack - Golden lion tamarin, numbat, radiated tortoise
Twilight Animal Pack - Aye-aye, Reeves’ muntjac, common brushtail possum
Tropical Animal Pack - Red-rumped agouti, Geoffroy’s spider monkey, lowland anoa
Oceania Animal Pack - Nene, kagu, Goodfellow’s tree kangaroo

Hmm...
  • Southeast Asia: Tapir, binturong, babirusa.
  • North America: Beaver, moose, fox (don't know what everyone's beef is, it's the easiest pack to cut).
  • Wetlands: Buffalo, platypus, lechwe (this was tough, it came down to the lechwe or the caiman, but the caiman is one of my favourite crocodiles in the game and the one I use the most).
  • Grasslands: Wildebeest, armadillo, maned wolf.
  • Arid: Sand cat, rhino, wild ass.
And to add:
  • Arctic: Muskox, wolverine, walrus, European adder (EX).
  • South America: Squirrel monkey, pudu, agouti.
  • Australia: Brolga, Cape Barren goose, lace monitor.
  • Aquatic: Pelican, gentoo penguin, sea otter.
  • Africa: Hamadryas baboon, serval, leopard tortoise.
  • Europe: Mute swan, Eurasian brown bear, European wildcat.
  • Conservation: Sumatran rhino, Pére David's deer, Geoffroy's spider monkey.
  • Twilight: Night monkey, fishing cat, some oddball animal like a genet of some kind.
  • Tropical: Sumatran tiger, white-faced saki, bush dog.
  • Oceania: South Island takahe, Australasian fur seal, eastern grey kangaroo.
