You know, given consumer protection agencies don’t seem too interested, I wouldn’t mind half the crazy rationals and abusive misrepresentation put forth by either extreme fans or CIG themselves for all this crazy biowaste if at least the game had been properly and widely reviewed or scored by the game press like they do for tons of other early access released products.
I mean, fans can convince themselves of all kinds of nonsense regarding the future if they want, and CIG can claim SC to be the dogs nollocks, but at least it would be quite clear and objective that the product is sold as is (with zero guarantees for the future) and that it is crap as is.
For a product that has been wildly monetized to the tune of an alleged 600+ millions I think it is high time the market and any new prospective buyers had that fundamental piece of relatively independent info to factor in their spend considerations.
