I guess it's my laptop needing a break.I've been playing for a couple hours with no issues at all.

As far as I know, 2001c is the maximum speed we can get in supercruise, no matter which ship.I remember watching a video of a commander chasing one of the star-goids coming at him and he maxed out at 2000c, don't know if that's ship type specific or not.
I would add a parachute or wingsuit to that...Best thing in a while - nice to be able to get there without being interdicted to death, great to be able to explore on the ground… mountain climbing gear recommended :]

For me it was about 5 minutes, yes, but I did wait until later in the day to avoid server congestion. And I have a nice fast connection.Let me guess. Somewhere under 5 minutes?
Looks cool. Thanks for sharing. Doesn't seem like much to actually do there, other than sight-see, though. Is there?Best thing in a while - nice to be able to get there without being interdicted to death, great to be able to explore on the ground… mountain climbing gear recommended :]

As I said, a parachute or a wingsuit would be nice additions to our equipment.Well, I managed to snag a "Spine Refinery Compound" after figuring out the puzzle with the four nerves (with help... I'm not that bright) but then promptly fell off the top of one of the tallest spires and just about survived.
I'm not very good at this game...
There are multiple collectible items. Refinery Compound, which are Odyssey materials. Various collectable bits via an SRV, and even exobio stuff you can scan with your Artemis. And of course the Banshees, which make the Revenants look like happy little clouds.Looks cool. Thanks for sharing. Doesn't seem like much to actually do there, other than sight-see, though. Is there?
Wouldn't say no - now that there is FINALLY some Odyssey content, we might see some new developments on suits. (Which of course will trigger much teeth gnashing about having to griiiiiiind aaaaaah)As I said, a parachute or a wingsuit would be nice additions to our equipment.
I went to the system.Best thing in a while - nice to be able to get there without being interdicted to death, great to be able to explore on the ground… mountain climbing gear recommended :]

Honestly, I went there yesterday in my exploration DBX (barely outrun the hyperdiction) and today in my Courier (hahaha, laughs at them while boosting away at 700m/s) neither of which are really armoured or armed. As long as you land quickly and dismiss the ship, it's fine. Even when I recalled it, the ship arrived quite close to the structure (after I hoofed it 2km away!) and was able to leg it without issue.I went to the system.
Um... unprepared, reallyNo anti-xeno stuff whatsoever and in an unamoured exploration ship. Yeah...
Still, I did escape the hyperdiction but then I watched the rest of the video and thought.. thoughts. Perhaps not the ideal situation for my AspX.
Still puzzled by that...they're all very much there.Well, according to my left hand panel and my scanning reticule, I should be able to just reach out and touch this "Ancient Probe". But there ain't no nuffin there. Not to physically see, anyway.
Ah well, an interesting diversion...
Quite the bullet sponge eh?Well... you can bag a Banshee ;]
tbh it's a bit like a Goli fight, though it is tougher - emptied my std mag Exie & used half my Tormentor's ammo...

Yeah, I've heard rumours that some well-placed ax-rockets do the trick...Quite the bullet sponge eh?
