I know some people at Frontier are not really in a celebrational mood, understandably. You have my heart and my thoughts and I hope whatever happens that PZ and / or the community has brought you some joy in one way or another.

Honestly this so much. Things must have been rough in the Frontier office. Just so you guys and gals know, we are thinking of you and wishing you the best.

Thanks! This proves that we don't have to loose our faith. After 4 years this small issue has been fixed and I'm very grateful that Frontier is still listening and making these small changes.

Oh wow the Collared Peccary, amazing animal addition! (also fantastic timing given the recent Twitter love for them)
The Peccaries, or Javelinas look absolutely stunning, cant wait to build for these little cuties. Really nice south american rep for basegame too.
The new balloons look nice aswell. Nice to see the aniiversary animals in them.

Man the games already 4 years, i hope we get to enjoy anniversaries and new content for awhile longer. I think the game still has plenty potential left, I know i still have plenty love for it.

Free update 1.15.2 will be featuring some brand new Anniversary content that is available right now, just update your game! Are you ready to see what other exciting things we've got planned for you? Without further ado, lets get into what's going on for this year's Planet Zoo Anniversary celebration!

Let's start off with a bang by introducing our brand new friend - meet the Collared Peccary!

The Collared Peccary evolved from pig-like ancestors in Europe and now have a significant presence in North America. In game, the Collared Peccary will be able to forage using the forage box and also be able to roll about in mud! We can't wait to see what kind of habitats you build for them in your Zoos. They are also very social creatures living in herds of 5-15, so make sure to add a bunch of them into your habitats!

Of course, what better way to celebrate a special occasion with none other than balloons! We've added a variety of four animal balloons which will be part of this free update. Designs will include the Orangutan, Black & White Ruffed Lemur, the Red Deer and the Collared Peccary. Just like the other balloons in game, guests will be able to hold them and they will be a permanent addition to the game, which we're sure your guests will love!

This time last year for our 3rd Anniversary we celebrated the launch of the official Planet Zoo Merch Store, so it only seemed right to make sure everyone celebrates in style again this year with a merch store sale. This sale will run for a limited time just for the Anniversary weekend so make sure to get your Planet Zoo swag now up to 25% off!

Of course we've got another limited-time celebration happening in game this weekend with a 24 hour Community Challenge from 3rd-6th November! In this special event, you'll receive a boosted animal that has an 80%+ in any gene, in return for every 5 animals you release (with a 1 in 50 chance of having Piebald or Albino colouring!) You will also gain a complete Avatar outfit for every 20 animals released - so both you and your animals will look, oh so stylish!

New Content - 1.15.2/Anniversary Celebration

  • NEW - Animals
    • To celebrate our 4th Year Anniversary a new habitat animal, the Collared Peccary habitat is now available in game!
      • The Collared Peccary is available for free, for all owners of the Planet Zoo base game
  • NEW - Animal Foil Balloons
    • 4 x new animal style balloons are available in the Loony Blooons shop for all owners of the Planet Zoo base game.
      • Anniversary Collared Peccary Balloon
      • Anniversary Orangutan Balloon
      • Anniversary Lemur Balloon
      • Anniversary Red Deer Balloon
  • NEW - "Wippi Abbonibo" Foil Balloons Returning for 24 hours
    • On the day of the anniversary (5th Nov), Loony Blooons will have the option to sell the Wippi Abbonibo foil balloons to your guests, to celebrate the Planet Zoo Anniversary in style!
General Bug Fixes and Improvements

  • Animals
    • Fixed an issue where the Babirusa failed to jump into water
    • Fixed an issue where Tasmanian Devils would disappear at certain camera angles
    • Fixed an issue where multiple species interactions with the food ice block enrichment was not playing correctly
    • Fixed a temperature-related typo in the US-English version of the Arctic Wolf's zoopedia fun facts. Please don't keep your animals at 127°F
    • Fixed an issue that prevented various animals from using the Tree Scatter Feeder for Grizzly Bear, Himalayan Brown Bear, Formosan Black Bear, Giant Panda, and Indian Elephant
    • Improved navigable area for little penguins so they can pass under obstacles easier
    • Enhanced visuals when the Red River Hog uses the mud bath enrichment
  • Habitats
    • Fixed an issue where habitat objects were unassigned from their habitat after undoing a colour change
    • Fixed an issue where the viewing dome names were being reset after reloading a save
    • Fixed an issue that caused the Terrain/Environment tab to constantly flicker
  • Scenery
    • Small faux rock assets no longer require Europe Scenery research
    • Fixed an issue where guests were unable to see through all Twilight Gothic Iron Fence assets
    • Removed the research level from the TV screens for the Capybara
  • Staff
    • Mechanics will now repair vandalism
  • UI
    • Fixed an issue where some placement setting sliders were incorrectly disabled
  • Localization
    • 'Thatch Colour' translation has now been added to all supported languages
    • Fixed an issue where 'Inspector/Reporter will arrive in' text mentioned months twice in Spanish
  • Stability
    • Fixed various crashes, improving game stability.

Wippi Abbonibo! Well thanks for the gift, good animal choice and it's also great that you keep adding little things to the base game like updating the balloon shop with some of the new animals.
Just keep giving me new content for this game I like so much!

Happy Anniversary everyone! I am so grateful to the devs and all the people involved for never stopping to make this game even more amazing than it already is! The times might not be the brightest right now, but I am sure the people behind this game will keep shining on, I am absolutely certain of it 💚 Rest assured this community will keep supporting you no matter what! (even if the next dlc is still not the bird pack we so crave for :pP)

Cant wait to build a golf course for them, long live the javelinas 😍😍😍
