Have you seen the facial animations? Their faces are all tired.

He was on my ignore list anyway. I only started peeking when the resonance started to really take off.

IIRC Faceware hooked them up as a demo of Faceware Studio but now it's up to CIG to keep working (good luck). I dunno how much Faceware cares about that direction, though. A problem is that the groups that would be the most interested in FoIP, the AR/VR people, currently are using devices that cover the face. Their software also needs to be better at picking up subtle expressions from regular people as currently you get "my face is tired" results. I think it's trapped in the content creation space for now.

Now that Starfield had done it they probably have some idea on how to make it work too.
I mean everything else about Star Citizen is derived from other games, it's hard for me to believe they are doing anything original anymore.
