Well I kind of narrowed down your list of areas for potential square and regular Maps so I kind of had to choose the most beautiful places on Earth in order to also for consideration for new biomes for us to play in in this game I don't expect it to come and any DLCs so I'm actually expecting this to come as a free update so here is what I think my friend here would definitely enjoy.

With Expansions being seemingly off the table, it's hard to see much opportunity for maps.

We could maybe get one in a free update, but then it seems like one of the updates from this year probably would've had one.

They could maybe do Location Packs that include species and a relevant map, but for Oceania for example there's no truly safe species left to do, being already in the game.

Hopefully we at least get some more plants down the line.

What you said about the expansions, I agree that Frontier might not be thinking about any but in one of Evo's videos, she said that Frontier is experiencing problems, so they might do some when things are better.
