Some Things That Don't Make Sense to Me

7. How does the base command center not know I just killed someone when the entire galaxy knows that I was just given a fine and notoriety?

The authorities are informed but only those who scan you will see the bounty. Luckily our suits aren't wired up to alarms and flashing lights that instantly make a never ending racket and light show once we incur a bounty.

I would add…

15. Why do we need dozens of reactor-grade power regulators to upgrade a personal suit?

I don’t think it serves to seriously question these game aspects(or some of them), but I’m here for it in good fun anyway.
I'm just glad they didn't put a Bethesda style legendary system in.

I understand the "gameplay reasons" programming. It's mostly tongue in cheek.

Why, when i look in my underwear drawer, can't i find two matching socks????

I mean, here you guys are fretting about a damn computer game and there are real life mysteries to be solved!!!

Look in your sock drawer

I thought we take the magic elevator to the concourse. I've not seen the engineer in the hangar.
Ship engineers have no elevator afaik. You just walk to a little chamber at the back of the hangar, rather than the interior of a planetary base, as you would expect to.

(More evidence to the way Odyssey was rushed out as an unfinished cash grab by whichever shareholders or executives took that decision, at the cost of the developers doing the work. But let’s not go down that rabbit hole here …)

What rank do I get if I turn this lot in?

And I have sold some recently.

Ill gotten gains from farming SDPs. Not so much grind, as easy money!

When I find the next suitable POI I will have to sell some more to make room.

Nice haul. I sold 100 power regulators recently. Didn't take long. My ship and carrier were limited out on mats, had to get rid of stuff.

Here's a nice haul. A revisit after SC had only one of each. Next time was about like this.

I was thinking Odyssey engineers. I've never met the ship engineers, just station menus.

I seem to recall elevators if we're talking about personal item engineers.
Those, they do definitely have elevators, but when visiting, eg, Professor Palin, I don’t recall there being any. Just a straight (relatively straight) run to a small box where an office is tucked away. And either a hologram or android with a hologram projected onto it of Palin.

That, or his Thargoid research allows him to spontaneously materialize wherever he desires within that base.
