Game Discussions GTA6 is official..

Looking forward to it. Got many hours in GTA V (Online).

But, i guess, they will do console release, and us PC peasants will have to wait longer to get it.

My console has a more powerful cpu than my pc so its either way for me. Even used to playing by controller thanks to xbox making such great ones (only have a ps5 go figure).

Modding and steam (and pcmr) is the killer app for pc though.

Never did the online thing - had too many people warn me off it. Did like GTA V but thought IV was far superior. (Will of course be getting this the second it's out though!)

Online is a toxic hellhole and trying to do something in a public lobby is an exercise in frustration. About the only thing i would do in a public lobby was get in a taxi and offer players lifts while trying to dodge the missles from the Oppressor Mk2 tryhards. Otherwise i'd play in forced solo public lobbies or private lobbies. Fortunately, in the last year or two, Rockstar made it so you can do almost anything in private lobbies that you can do in public. Should have been that way from the start... just another misguided attempt to get PvEers in the same lobbies with PvPers.

Well it definitely looks stunning, sheesh!!!!
I've played gtaV quite a bit in single player and had a lot of fun, I'll definitely buy this one too.
I'm glad it won't be cross gen, only for the latest consoles, Rockstar games always look and play good, I loved RDR2 a lot as well.
It's still a long wait until 2025 though.

Wake me up in three years and see what it looks like then.

I just hope they go back to the more tongue-in-cheek roots of the series rather than trying to be overly gritty and dark for the sake of it like they did with 4 and 5.

GTA Vice City was my favourite. Not great at geography but looks similar to the original "Miami"-style version, is that the theme?

I never played the missions; just got it in Steam, downloaded a completed save and drove round the city listening to 80s music. Must see if I can get a VR mod for it :D
