Sounds like fun, how I would love to fight for 10 or 20 seconds every time I jumped to SC or between systems, that would never get old............

To actually give an intended release year before you take money from the paying public, and stick to it?
Why a year? You order buns a year in advance at the bakery? A book in the bookstore? Has given money away for free become that normal?

Yeah, called him out for it in the comments. Love Mike, but boy those rose tinted glasses go back on way too easy. Especially as he himself accepts they've had the wool pulled over their eyes time and time again.... but this time, this time, its different.
Also laughed out loud when he said Chris inspires people to work. Chris "make that pixel blue", micromanager supreme.... so what? Devs were just sat around being unproductive before Chris arrived? This is one thing that NMS absolutely nailed. It's simple, it works, job done.
Yup, you opt in to MP and to PvP, not the other way round. I don't get why so many devs refuse these well-established principles and try to invent the wheel anew. I think it's mostly MP noob devs.
Because someone always thinks they have an answer as to how to mix hardcore PvPers with hardcore PvEers in the same environment and they remain convinced right until the servers are turned on and reality hits home.
The only reason both Star Citizen PvPers and PvEers haven't understood it yet is because they are too busy throwing quotes from CIG that support their positions at each other and the fact that its still alpha so they are free to imagine that when it comes down to it CIG will make the game they want, not the game the other side wants.
Most likely, in the end, neither side will get what they want.
