- Oh my god frontier NAILED it! it's looking absolutely phenomenal! I wasn't super excited for them but now! oh man I think they gonna be one of my fav from the pack FOR SURE!
I have a question. What is the northernmost location of sloth bears? Is there a coniferous forest?
I'm having hope they gonna do this animation because they mentioned it in the Special Livestream, so why they would mention something if they didn't implement it to the game?
Just to make the hint obvious. They are known for that behaviour.

No I meant that the hint that the animal was caring their babies it wasn't the hint that made us all thinking it's sloth bear like till they mentioned the black and shuggy hair we thought it was the Tamandua but when they mentioned that it has black and shuggy hair then it was obvious the sloth bear.
I'm just having hope I am not saying it's 100% gonna happen but it would make me so happy if they add it.
I believe they are restricted to temperate environments at their northernmost point. I mean they could live in (subtropical?)coniferous forests, but I wouldn't say they live in the taiga.
The Zoopedia mentions anteater babies being carried on mothers backs yet they dont in game, proving that anything frontier says doesn't necessarily come true.
It was the combination of the two facts that made it obvious. Both facts on their own can be lots of animals

I cant even imagen how difficult such shaggy long fur that stands like that mustve been to replicate in a game and make it look good.

Piggy back or not, this is the best bear model we'll have in my opinion and I could not be happier with it!
Even the fur I'm absolutely fine with and even see it as the best from all animals that should have longer hair but usually does not in Planet Zoo.

Omg, the sloth bear looks outstanding. I was so hoping for a bear with the same high quality as the animals in the last packs and I was not disappointed. The sloth bear doesn't have the weird cartoony look and proportions as the vanilla bears (plus polar bear as well sometimes), so happy about this!
