Please Frontier please don't make a Central/South America scenery pack again

I can't see the spider monkey (if we even consider it a realistic choice) having a fifth limb but rather a tail hanging animation like the existing one already ingame to fit the style of existing animals. There are many realistic features of animals missing yet not many of us are too bothered by that.
Yeah as long as they do something with the tail.

Getting as realistic as possible, these would be your 2 options:

Latin America Scenery Pack
  • Geoffroy’s Spider Monkey (Idk why people consider it to be a “porcupine” situation, you have the siamang brachiation, all the spider monkey would really need is a body slant and a fifth grab-able limb (tail)).
  • Ocelot
  • Greater Rhea
  • South American Coati
  • Hoffmans Two Toed Sloth (WTE)
180+ New Bright Caribbean style architecture pieces, up to 15 new foliage plants, new signs, and a statue.

Or

Latin America Animal Pack
  • Black Howler Monkey
  • Ocelot
  • Greater Rhea
  • Spectacled Bear
  • American Flamingo
  • Vicuña
  • Orinoco Crocodile
  • Hoffmans Two Toed Sloth (WTE)
New signs, a statue, 1-2 new plant types.
Interesting line up for the Animal pack for sure. Though I'm asking because I'm genuinely curious, it looks like we have two very work intensive animals in the Scenery Pack, but none in the Animal Pack - I don't think the Howler Monkey would be that much work, TBH. I'd think it would be more likely to switch the Coati with an animal from the Latin America pack. Or switch the Spider Monkey and Howler Monkey spots.

As it is though, Animal Pack. Spectacled Bear would knock out my last species specific mammalian want, so I'm going to choose tha, even if the Flamingo, Crocodile and Vicuna would be very uninteresting choices to me. For the Scenery Pack, the Coati is the only one I'd truly be all that excited for, since I've just kind of accepted that the Ocelot is coming in a pack for this region, and understand why the Rhea's included in both as well.

Yes but imagine the completly wild thing called "Mountain Pack" which has the spec bear and if animal pack might even bring another south american camelid and boom scenery rules even more as it keeps all its benefits while we only "loose" on 2 clones

True and a mountain pack would be a fantastic addition, but right now I'm operating on the expectation that we've probably only got 2 packs left max. Hopefully I'm wrong though. As it is, I'm somewhat confident we'll get one for the general "Latin America" theme, which I think is most likely the name the pack would be if it's not solely Central America, and the other some kind of finale/world wide round up pack.

Of course, if it plays out to 4 packs next year, which seems like it may be less and less likely over the course of this month, I'm all for a mountains pack.

Why should it get less likly?
Wake up from the doomer mindset, the end is only here when they say it is and from finances, to possible new content, to common sense theres no reason why they would throw away their very consistent cash cow randomly in the middle of the year.
Atleast one more year seems like a given and by that metric SA scenery in spring, islands animal in summer, forest/petting zoo scenery in fall and mountains animal winter seems like quite the save guess.

What ever happens, support wont end now and speculating packs on a "just one or two more" base is not only less fun, but it also blinds you to the bigger picture.

Like for example SA vs Island clones, what sounds more appealing?

Tapir, Camelid, American Flamingo, Crocodile or Shetland Pony, Macaque, Moufflon and Penguin?

One of those sounds far more appealing to me then the other, not to mention the extra possible choice for island clones like kunekune pig or another monitor

I guess I'm at the point that I'd rather not set myself up for disappointment, in case content should end after the next pack or two.

I'm there with you. I've set my expectations to two more packs. A Latinamerica centric one and a finale pack. If i'm wrong then great! If not i will be already expecting it.

Yeah I’m in this boat as well. I know there are good points that PZ brings in good profit for frontier, but there are also a lot of points that go against it like the layoffs, the latest career scenario, it just doesn’t feel like we have a full year ahead of us this time.

Ngl guys id rather be optimistic all year round and excited for the future then be disappointed and doom talking all the time.
You do you, but when they announce that its the end then i will be dissapointed and a bit bummed out then instead of being it all year round for year after year
