What other games are we all playing?

Most of my time has been split between PC and Steam Deck.

Games have mainly been the following:

DDO
Cyberpunk 2077
Fallout 4
Metal Gear Solid 5
ETS 2
Control
Ghost Recon Breakpoint

I played the VR version last year - possible one of the most disturbing games I’ve ever played. The use of audio to make the constant voices sound as if they are just behind you was almost overwhelming. There’s also a part when Senua looks behind her because she senses someone there, walks towards you, finally makes eye contact and reaches out to touch you before she is distracted by a noise and is one of those stand-out VR moments that really stuck in my memory.
Can't wait for the new one...looks like a game of year all day :)

Let's see... for me, besides Elite Dangerous, I've played, in no particular order:
  • Space Engineers
  • Empyrion Galactic Survival
  • Rimworld
  • Minecraft
  • Kerbal Space Program
  • Starfield
  • Fallout 4
  • Fallout Shelter
  • Plague Inc
  • FTL
  • Subnautica
  • Clue
  • Golf (the one played in the outdoors)
  • Beat Saber
  • Survivng Mars
  • Planet Crafter
  • Don't Starve
  • Civilization 4
  • Cyberpunk 2077
  • Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
  • Warlords
  • Evil Genius
Could be from my playlist. Add a couple explosions and I'm basically supplied.

I've revisited quite a few of my games. New ones were Last Starship, Darktide, Rogue Trader , RDR2 and Starfield.

X4
SB2
UBoat
Ultimate General: Civil War
Steel Divisions II
WoWs
Armored Warfare
DCS
MWO (recently reinstalled for pvp fix when needed)
Gunner Heat PC

I'm sure one day I'll have SF.
Are there any Scorn players here ?

For those of us who like reading this forum we're in now, when the comment frequency goes down; there's another space game site called SpaceBattles (for those who don't know it). Its an active place right now. There are lots of games being discussed so its not focused on a few.
And of course there's always Steam.

You are not supposed to say this out loud... :)

Been playing through Avatar : Frontiers of Pandora. It's pretty good, both coop and solo. Nothing startlingly new or innovative gameplay wise, but it sure is pretty and a fun experience over-all.

Good solid game :)

Picked up Stray in the sales.

A purrfect little gem on the Deck when head shooting people from 300m or dismembering them from up-close and personal gets a little too much :)
Yeah, I picked up Stray on the PS5 for free with PlayStation + and absolutely loved it...press Y to meow :D

Absolute gem of a game and deserves a special mention for being very different.

@amigacooke {macOS} It's even available on MacOS :)

Honestly disturbed by the lack of Baldurs Gate 3 in those lists 😋 Played the heck out of that one alongside CP2077 Phantom Liberty, Elden Ring, Elite, NMS, Starfield, Alien: Dark Descent and my beloved Squad, among a few others.

It's one of my "regret" games. If they ever patch it so I can create my own party without jumping through hoops, I may give it another go.

I just utterly dislike all the companions. I wouldn't wish to travel with any of them

Wish more games had a demo version. 2hrs just isn't really enough to tell if you like the game or not.

My Rogue Trader playthrough continues and the builds are somewhat coming together. Sister Argenta now fields a heavy bolter and excels at wiping the floor. A bad placement led to her knocked out but the party was able to finish the fight regardless. Pascal has become quite apt in eliminating targets, too. Then there is my main character who can stand and tank and retaliate melee attacks. Idira is potent now with Psyker powers, Heinrix soso, a new companion has a sniper background and underperforms a bit. Cassia is centrepiece, unholy tankiness and giving the free turns while trying to deal damage. I don't know how they would hold out against normal difficulty but I'd rather not try.
It's Drukhari enemies now, had a couple battles with some sub bosses. They dodge like hell but try dodging a boosted volley from Argenta, you dodge one, two and dodge right into the rest of the salvo. Looks funny, like the whoosh-whoosh enemies that have Kerenzikovs in CP2077.

Last week was dominated with Gates of Hell conquest mode. Trying to make infantry builds work. There is still some bugs in there but I was able to explore the American roster fully. All I can say is: M1 Garand and cal. 50. At one time I fielded a bloody truck as cavalry quick response that had a HMG mounted. Air threats are still annoying: AA doesn't reliably fire, but with quad cal. 50s it is short work in manual mode. Still working on the ambush tactics, when it works the bazookas are taking out big targets, too. Best artillery piece imo: M3 105mm. Looks like inaccurate field gun but range, reload and accuracy are very good. Can take out big targets with Willy Pete, too. After protracted shelling...

Ch 3 in Rogue Trader. Classic "we take all of your gear and companions". Gear isn't so much of a problem. 3 of the companions seem to have gone for good. I think it's a bug - they are supposed to be rescuable. The most essential ones have been saved and 2 new ones recruited. Gone are Abelard, Idira and Jae.

Though I'm not sure who was part of the party when the story event triggered. 1 seems to be missing if only the active party was captured. I think I had Abelard in it. Or was it Idira?

I've got back into a freeware remake of Transportation Tycoon Delux - kindly allowed by Chris Sawyer who's not unconnected with ED and DBOBE and Frontier.

I'm dipping in and out of OpenTTD (using the zBase graphics pack). It is incredibly 'simple' with some super-basic graphics, but......... should you get hooked..... it can soak up endless hours - simply sorting out a signalling block through a mildly complex interchange can be very rewarding - once you have it (finally) working.

It's also a game that you can dip in and out of, as it's a sandbox where any challenges are those that you set yourself.
