Yes overheating might be an issue.I just noticed something, it looks like the seat is mounted on the gun butt, true definition of bore sighting.![]()

Those space scooters have pros and cons. I mean all those dozens of rear view mirrors are great for stealth missions but having that big target painted on the back of your leather exosuit is more of a problem...I want one of these, a Vespa with a Recoilless Rifle.
I think you're using the wrong suit...Those space scooters have pros and cons. I mean all those dozens of rear view mirrors are great for stealth missions but having that big target painted on the back of your leather exosuit is more of a problem...
I use SCA all the time. And a docking computer. Heresy!I have just realised that if you are orbiting* the wrong way for the settlement you are aiming for, you can simply half-loop and it will reenter an orbit going the other way with no bother.
* yes I know you all hate Supercruise Assist, I ain't having that debate, although this is an example of how it's more useful than it looks once you've figured out the weird choices it makes.
I don’t hate it as such.I have just realised that if you are orbiting* the wrong way for the settlement you are aiming for, you can simply half-loop and it will reenter an orbit going the other way with no bother.

I don't hate it. I used it for most of my almost 2 years playing this game. I still use it on the Stargazer, which is my material collector and occasional bubble exploration vessel. Those signals are sometimes quite far out, in particular the high grade emissions. Using it also enables me to scan other ships for data mats without me missing my destination.I have just realised that if you are orbiting* the wrong way for the settlement you are aiming for, you can simply half-loop and it will reenter an orbit going the other way with no bother.

Sounds like an on-foot Thargoid CZ taking placeI fired up Elite last night for the first time since September, I installed the various "17" updates and all seemed well until a mini furball broke out at my feet. It seems the cat instigated a brawl between my Toy Fox Tierre and my wife's Schipperke, little dog fights always sound much worse than they are. Needless to say, it scared the crapola out of me as I didn't know the three of them were even there.
Looks to me you got a lemon of a carrier, I'd take her back to the dealer and get some warranty work done. I think a nice Mariachi band on the promenade would be nice too.

Well, if Katrina can walk on sunshine, walking on air shouldn't be that difficult...
I've heard that is one of the slight issues with the FSDs for megaships they never got ironed out......on the other hand, the Vista clerk (and others on the FC) seemed a bit down today?
