5) Nigil
6) Asian Lion

13) Speculated Bear
14) Coati - I don't like it but others do

Africa
15) Hornbill
16) Secretary Bird
17) Giant Eland
18) Massai Giraffe

Antarctica
19) Leopard Seal
20) Southern Elephant Seal

Being so heartless? I'm confused by that comment.

I've decided to finally partake in this thread to the extent I can. What's absolutely needed:

New World Primates (NWP) - that is, Monkeys and Tamarins if possible. Getting at least one more is....absolutely essentially critical. I cannot imagine having only one NWP in the game, it's honestly the only essential sticking point for me that feels they cannot just leave it that way. Two more more would be great, and honestly I do feel we need more than just one more. Getting four more total would be fantastic but I think two more is really the minimum that would be....adequate. Merely adequate. I'm not really a fan of the Spider Monkeys and would prefer something else but I'd even be okay with them, it's something.

So basically, abssolutely needed for me at least:
1. NWP
2. NWP
3. Spectacled Bear

Would be really great to get in:
4. Secretary Bird
5. Pelican Species
6. Shoebill
7. Coatimundi
8. Hamadryas Baboon (for the Baboon fans)
9. Tree Kangaroo
10. Musk Ox (for the Musk Ox Fans
11. Blackbuck - a second Asian antelope
12. Sea Otter/North American River Otter/Eurasian Otter - non-tropical otter, the third would be my pick
13. Patagonian Mara (even though it's way higher on my list than down here, I can vibe with the over all picture here.
14. Wild Turkey
15. Scarlet Ibis
16. Markhor
17. NWP
18. NWP
19. Brazilian Porcupine
20. Masai Giraffe

I'm just going to leave it at that to be honest. I know that totally messes up the entire structure of what you're wanting, but other lists have already done that anyways

Ha I just recorded a video for basically this topic. Tbh I think this thread is kind of a set up for disppointment because theres no way that they are gonna supply 20 creatures that are exactly what people want, so I'm doing mine in 5 categories of what I truly think is needed for the roster to be complete, or at least complete to the average player.

  1. Baboon Species - The only species of Africa and just in general other than a couple which have other flaws (walrus for example) that is still a very very iconic ABC animal and we dont have. Baboons are what I would say the last well known category of primates that we don't have recognition for. Howlers and Spider Monkeys I want too but they aren't as known and they don't hold the same appeal as a baboon species.
  2. South American Animals in general - Its no secret SA is heavily failing in its roster compared to the rest of the continents, even as much as 2 or 3 species in the next pack would go such a long way. A monkey, coati and the bear or ocelot and I'll be kinda satisfied. I don't want the whole next pack to be regionally themed because that will leave some (including me) disappointed that they chose SA (even though it deserves it) as the theme for the last pack and not draw attention to any other continents which have interesting animals.
  3. Remaining Waterfowl - It would be so sad to have the swan already given to us and they don't use the same rig to make a pelican or a duck in the final pack. Pelicans and ducks are such cool creatures and both well known icons and to not have them when we basically have the set up for them would be really annoying.
  4. New World Monkey (s) - I don't expect to get more than one of these in the next pack, I would hope they at least have one given that there are so many options (tamarins, spider, howler, etc) but I don't expect more than one of these because if we do get the baboon, then thats 2 and I really don't expect anymore than that. I want spider monkey, but if we get the baboon and a SA monkey that is something else like the howler, I won't care as much.
  5. African Bird - I don't care that much if its not the Secretary bird (although I will be extremely excited if it is), but I do think that considering the latest bird additions being from Oceania, Europe (and NA technically) and Asia, I think Africa deserves one more with the level of quality we have now. My top choice would be the Grey Crowned Crane.
Extra 5 species that if they do appear I will be over the moon:
  1. Aoudad
  2. Serval
  3. Pallas Cat
  4. Gelada
  5. Rock Hyrax

I agree on everything except the next pack being SA themed. Is kind of unfair that Oceania, North Africa/Middle East and Eurasia all got a new pack focus on the regions and SA, the most lacking of the continents in the current roster, doesn't get the spotlight one last time. Maybe it could be an all Americas pack or even a more diverse all over the world pack but the focus SHOULD be in LATAM (CA and SA) with at the very least 4 animals from this regions (and even that is falling short).

That said if the next pack is a typical one and not an expanded one and is focused on a specific region i think that might also be a good sign that at there could be one last "wrap up" pack left

I have always been team secretary but at this point i really prioritize more important birds like the rhea, grey crowned crane and any pelican. I think they are more useful and basic animals for most zoos. The secretary bird would feel like a wonderful gift but we do need at least these three birds (and possibly also a duck).

I feel like if they made the tropical pack entirely South America themed, put RRH and Fossa in Arid (and make it a more generalized Africa pack) swapping those 2 in instead of Dama and Addax, add Gibbon and monitor instead of Saiga and bear in Eurasia, then get 4 new SA species in tropical pack, I would've preferred that so much more looking back at it. Then that would cover all continents except NA which really imo doesn't need it.

North America got the Twilight pack as wel and an animal pack. Honestly other than the musk ox and the ABB (and maybe even the wild turkey) there isn't a lot of iconic NA animals left that really need to be in game. Sure you have things like coyote, elk, mountain goat, bighorn sheep, WTD, etc. but i think the base for the most important representatives of that region are covered (raccoon, beaver, sea lion, moose, cougar, alligator, prairie dog, skunk, etc.).

SA got: collared peccary (shared with NA), capybara and spectacled caiman in Wetlands, maned wolf in Grasslands (and armadillo but that is shared with NA once again) and sloth in tropical. And that's it. Still no rhea because the emu was a more pressing need at that time, no coati (we got the fossa instead) and no monkeys (another gibbon seemed to be more important).

So i still support the idea of the next pack being SA focused, even if a lot of other animals from other parts of the world that i also really want end up being left out.

And this is maybe something more suited for the Unpopular Opinions thread but i don't think the tree kangaroo is that important and it should not take the place of other animals.

Tbh the 5 categories is not that much of a stretch of a want list, I think it’s reasonable. If the final pack will be bigger and have more animals (like we all think it will) I think it’s likely you will have all 5 of those categories met in some way. I imagine the final pack will be what the community has been asking a lot of, so I expect it to be a mix of those and some other things thrown in. I’m even expect anywhere from 12-20 species in the pack.

I really don't expect 20 animals (though it would be amazing) but maybe an animal pack with scenery or even up to 10-12 species total. I also do expect an anniversary animal in November. Is the five year mark and even if we don't get anymore DLCs after Easter an animal for the fifth anniversary would be nice.

Also a thought i just had though but what if the Easter pack is just a regular pack and we get the finale pack as the 5 years anniversary release. Maybe the Anniversary DLC, and that includes 8 animals very requested by the community (not for free ofc)

What would the scenery for an all around the world pack even be though? Like just more general zoo stuff I guess? Idk I would rather get just 12-15 animals over an animal pack with scenery.

I want at least a 50 more but I would be really good with those:

Coati
Baboon or any monkey

Honestly, for me they can just concentrate on PZ2, but if they add flying birds into that, they need to prolong support or I get way to few mammals.
