Now it might just be me, but that shape reminds me of something else, that isn’t a Python. Yet I can’t quite figure out what.

For some reason my first thought was Guillotine class destroyer from I-War 2, but it is also similar to NSO-L230 LST:

I never thought I'd do this, but I am going to borrow an argument / point from those who criticise those (like me) who want ship interiors ... what new gameplay will it bring? Just being a new ship / variant for the sake of being a new ship / variant, is not going to bring back players or keep them and new players playing the game.

Not much is known currently, other than it is "functionally different" to its predecessor. And will arrive sooner rather than later this year. But, this looks super nice. And is one of four new ships planned. Allegedly classed as variants.
