Yeah, it only took me 10 mins in the end. And there where 15 units of Neofabric Insulation for me to pick up, so it was worth it (sure, there are many more 'time efficient' ways I could make the 300-400k I'll get for those in YZ Ceti atm, but I'm here to fly, not to grind!).
I might have to swing by Vela Dock some time
I'll certainly be going to grab me a mug before I go trekking outide the bubble - gotta take something to hold those caffeinated beverages!

I appear to be pootling around a CNB just to mix things up a little. Not too stressful although I appear to be coming under attack - and they are firing first and I have no cargo. Which is fine, as they then tend to eat a lot of hot laser which causes them to boil up quite satisfyingly.
Sometimes, stacking missions is a great idea.

I'm not that hot of a combat pilot, and I'm kinda rusty, so low res is just fine for me
I'm probably about done with the CG stuff for now - helped me get back into the swing of things, grab some ships (Sidey, Hauler, Adder, Viper III and Type 6 - there'll be more, but no rush - also, I dig the lil ships more
) and a moddest cushion of cash (it's only 15 million, but if you told me in December 2014 I could have 15mil and 5 ships after 2-3 days non grindy play, I wouldn't believe you!), so time to start roaming a bit.I wanna go back down Pleiades way, check out the old land marks before big changes come, I'm going to assume lethal 'goid hyperdictions are still a thing?

Do the Guardian sites still do anything? I wanna head back out to the first one I ever visited and got into 'some serious tinfoil stuff' with, mainly for the nostalgia, but if they're still active in some way, I should be sure to take the relevant gear/capacity.
Ohhh! I wonder if any of the Guardian ruins are walkable, Odyssey style?!?!
Man, I miss those madcap days of crazy moon-theory, relic position inicators on the gal-map nonsense - none of it ended up meaning/correlating to a damned in game thing, but we sure had a lot of fun trying to figure it out. And, y'know, it kept us from hanging about on street corners!

As far as I know you can still get all sorts of Guardian blueprints and stuff to enable hybrid guardian gear from certain traders and I am sure I have seen pictures of people walking around some Guardian sites.
I'll be going to the Pleiades in a Sidey, maybe a Hauler at most, so I'm not too worried about the re-buy, just want to be forewarned

Nice to see you re-discovering ED, seems like your CMDR has been busy living a tidy life on some remote ELW, but got the itch for those space hobo adventures again.
The guardian ruins are still active - the main source of the goods needed for a recent CG stems from there. And you surely can disembark there, but be aware of the Sentinels.

While I prefer the Scarab for multipurpose stuff, i've found this one easier to handle in those ruins (less brutal acceleration, tuff hull and shield, less precise but powerful plasma mg, and a autoaim missile launcher useful for the kind of drones like guardian sentinels)

AFAIK, not around the Pleiades unless you carry something they want and don't give it back.
It's been buggy for a while. But better not trust too much in it. I forgot to sell my meta alloy to Farseer but managed to engineer stuff, and then at a later date I needed to provide the MA.
Yes they are. You'll need the SRV to pick up the relic and scan the terminal, but you can run around on foot and energize the pylons and shoot skimmers. Plasma weapons work well for this and is great fun. It's pretty easy to spot the pylons from higher up using the jetpack.
Don't tell me there's some flag at some side of the galaxy then there's not! Gee whiz!

Well around the time of that post I linked to, the sir had observed these rocks in numerous abundances and due to this scientific insight, an etymology update was issued. I believe several here are shown, seemingly as if an innocuous side dressing to E. Plumae (Mulberry).
How's that flat galaxy society going for you? Do you guys still meet on Wednesday nights at that imperial brothel?
It's a rock that I noticed in various places which has an easily identifiable shape. I called it The Rock of Ubiquity because it was everywhere on some planets. Folks here in this thread started calling it Codger's Rock, though, and that name seems to have stuck.
Here are a few examples. I have lots more. Once you've seen it, you'll start finding it here and there throughout the galaxy.
