Took mission to recover 4 XXX from surface.
Jumped to designated system.

Without any scanning, target planet/moon was identified by the globe and the colour.

Liberate bootleg liquor is a planetary mission and requires a SRV and cargo space, you seem to be looking for Space Signal Sources - which is wrong for this mission type

Edit: See the 2 Posts from Steve, above this one - it shows exactly how it looks (the Planet is marked with the color for Mission - which is blue with the default hud colors, then when you get close to orbital plane and the surface POIs appear, the mission POI will also be marked with the color for mission destination - usually a Minor Wreckage POI)

I think "Liberate" is a ship-only mission, and "Recover" is an SRV mission with on-foot elements. I could be wrong, it's been awhile.

The above mission was from the hanger mission board and not the concourse. There are numerous versions. Unless you want to check the data ports (if present) then they can all be done from the SRV. It is possible to use a limpet collector as well.

I figured as much. The on-foot elements (skimmers) don't qualify it as an on-foot mission, so it's never on the concourse board. I was referring to the space (ship) vs ground (SRV) mission comparison. I'll see if I can find a "Liberate" mission after I get home in a few hours. I'm used to checking my memory these days anyhow

I only found one "Liberate" mission tonight, which may have been the first I've done. I've done plenty of "Recover" missions, and they all were at "Minor Wreckage" with no trespass issues. This "Liberate" mission was at an "Artificial Structure", in a restricted zone. Based on this limited testing, finding either mission type's location should take the same steps. They don't seem to be different until after you find them, and they both require the SRV regardless.

Yeah, I have been to a number of these artificial structure sites to collect stuff. However the missions are labelled and the layout, getting there/locating them appears to be the same.
