COMPLETED CG Appeal for Anti-Titan Weapon Materials (Trade)

It had been a very long time since participating in a community goal. I seem to remember there being a minimum tier required for rewards. Don't seem to be seeing that for this one. The participation seems to be rather, lacking. Tier 2 has been reached but it's not looking good at all for much more in the remaining time.

Will there be rewards?

There have been a few where the non-cash rewards were dependent on a higher tier, but usually the minimum is either 0 or 1 if it doesn't state otherwise. So all the rewards should get paid out.

This really depends on what you're comparing it with.
- it has the highest participant count of any cargo delivery CG since August, and any CG of any type since October. Certainly the count is lower than CGs would have got three years ago but a lot has changed since then. Similarly this discussion thread is one of the longer ones so it's certainly getting more interest than most do in that sense.
- it's a highly unusual CG in terms of cargo types and probably is more like a rares CG than a bulk CG ... cargo tonnage is substantially higher than recent rares CGs though lower than most (but not quite all) recent bulk CGs. Given its unprecedented nature, where Frontier sets the highest tier is going to be very much a guess, and not getting close to it doesn't really mean much.

I have been in Colonia for years where community goals never really worked or caught on. Was not really sure what to expect back in the bubble. Goals seemed to often progress rapidly and would sometimes end early.

thanks

It's been an interesting CG - I started in the Top 10 with 11k farmed before supply dropped and expected either an easier commodity to be added or else to end up staying near the top as everyone gave up. But the top 10 is now 27k+ - so probably others have been collecting the resupply or farming missions all week despite the lacklustre rewards (and T1 had already been achieved). Not even been that much complaining - even compared to a normal CG - and participation is better than usual for a niche CG.

people are difficult to predict :)

Minimum tier would be 1, achieved a week last Thursday.
Contributers are low though given the methods of acquiring CG commodities it's highly likely they're being accumulated aboard carriers prior to delivery.
I'm seeing a lot more Pythons than I have for a long time.

Pretty much this ^^, im collecting and delivering without my Carrier but in LFT 37 the 381 Cutters on the traffic report is by far and away the biggest number.
The stations supply 100+ mainly Ion Distributors per shot, so folks are going for quantity.

yeap, easily 600-700 tons per hour.
2 hour per evening would mean at least 8000+ tons in the last week - but i'm pretty sure some people can easily sink more than 2h per day in ED
So i would aim for 8000t delivered as a safe number for top 50% by the end of the CG

Got back in the Bubble on Tuesday and started doing missions for a laugh, decided that pre-engineered HRPs weren't a bad reward and switched to just hauling a few hours a day.
Im at 7800 without even trying so i should imagine there's some silly numbers out there.

Well, since I have video I've submitted a ticket for "lost in-game assets". I have a cynical feeling that this will get the issue more attention than just a bug report. Maybe it will prompt a review of all the CG contributions.

Edit: they can tell from logs that my contributions weren't credited, and it's been fixed. The issue is passed on to QA team. This process at least seems to work well. I'm going to video every hand-in from now on, (not that it really matters, I'm still only in the "top 100%").

Maybe try doing the relogging part before turning in the commodities instead of after doing so. Maybe that way it will more properly register that you do have the cargo.

Yes, I actually did that before starting the video, because the goods weren't even showing in Inventory. Afterwards they appeared in Inventory in the video, but the bug still happened as shown.

I'd be surprised if the 50% threshold exceeded 2k, not unprecedented but would need a lot of deliveries this weekend.

I can only find 2 examples of the 50% threshold ever exceeding 8k on a trade CG, and one more close at 7.4k

Normally the 50% threshold is at around 40-60% of the mean contribution, so to get 8k on the current participant count would imply a total tonnage delivered sufficient to complete the CG. 2k would imply around 8-9MT total delivered which seems at least possible - still needing quite some speed-up over the weekend, but it could happen.

I'm just wondering whether it's worth the bother to try going for the top 50% on my alt as well or I should just aim for 75%(which the around 800 NI I have waiting on my carrier should be more than enough for). Was gathering them through war evacs then kind of got distracted with other things(or didn't play). Since I already have the 50% placement on the bounty side, I'll at least not feel too sorry either way if that "Ram Tah high capacity heatsink" is anything special or actually just a regular engineered module, in the end.

Has anyone figured out or know what the Ram Tah high cap HSL is? or is it just the regular engineered one
I think people would have said if they knew already. As it is, no one appears to have a clue and I don’t think Frontier’s said. So… I guess we are going to find out on Monday.

yea, but it still raised from like 1600t and also from under 2k participants last week to 2700+, so i guess that had a part in it too...
my 6k tons look rather silly now - especially if the rewards are the plain high capacity heat sink from RamTah and the generic high capacity HRP (especially if we cannot add the Deep Plating experimental to them)

Looks like 50% threshold finished at 1802 according to Inara, almost as if there wasn't a weekend rush at all.
This Sunday's deliveries were very close to last Sunday's deliveries in terms of total tonnage. Still I think the highest day other than the first Thursday's clearing through the original stock, but Sundays are often the busiest CG day anyway.
