Max solo Titan DPS build. 1.36 mil with 41% core damaged.

I finally got to kick some Titan's ass.
This is my current build: titan slayer
The empty hardpoint is a nanite torpedo pylon, Edsy doesn't seem to know that yet.
Maybe i should swap the ax multi cannons for ax missile racks.

@Karmix thx for all the testing. Have you also tried a Type 10 or would it be too slow? Because my T10 is mostly engineered and could use it emmidiatly.

The Type 10 would probably be to slow to escape the hyper/interdictions on the way to the titan.
I got interdicted up to 5 times once, i always submit, and then boost away.

I only see one thing I might change. In the optional internals I would move the adv landing to the size 1 space and increase the mod re to a size 2 . Some don't use the auto landing but for me its a quality of life issue.

The main problem with slow ships, is leaving when intercepted within a system ...

The trick there is to hit silent running immediately, boost, flip FA off, and then rotate around and tag the chasing interceptors just once each. Then turn back around and keep boosting.

Interceptors must slow down to deploy their swarm, so you can almost always get over 5k away before they finish.

That said, the T10 would be too slow to effectively hit the vents solo. It would work fine in a group, of course.

Unfortunately, due to translation difficulties, I didn't really understand what to do. I like other slow big ships, but I don't use them in anti-xeno because I don't know how to get away from interceptions.

I know about the target acquisition rework on interceptors and if when the distance is more than 3km and you are colder than 20% they lose YOU.

1.Thargoid interdicts you.
2. As soon as possible, boost, and activate Silent Running.
3. As soon as you reach max speed, turn FA off.
4. Rotate to face the thargoid, while continuing to drift away from it.
5. Shoot the thargoid. This will make the thargoid become aggressive, and deploy its swarm. While deploying its swarm, it will slow down.
6. You turn back around, and boost away from it.
7. Engage FSD once 5km+ away.

With my t10, I can get well over 6km away before it begins to gain on me again.

Hi everyone,

Last one of these. I've been testing builds all day and this was the winner. Easy to build, except you need a bunch of regular engineering mats for the missile racks. Was trying to figure out if more vents or more firepower was better. Here is the result. I managed to get 41% damage done to the core while Leigong is still at Maximum Defense. This was with two of the racks needing reloads during the run.

Used a Cutter with FA on. Has three 3C Sirius Missile Racks and two 2E Sirius Missile Racks. Rest is tier 5 engineered. There is no real need for heat sinks since the Beam Laser takes care of the heat and what little damage you get, you can repair when you glide away from the Titan after damaging the core.

Who knows, when resistances come way down, maybe we can get it close to zero health solo. At the least, we can do a lot more damage than against Taranis now that we've had a few days to test out builds.

Just stay inside the vents when doing your run. Also, as soon as you lock on, turn towards the next vent while firing so you can stay inside the vents. Cutter is of course slower and less maneuverable than the Krait MkII. Almost had 7 vents. Going to see if I can do 7 and see what the results are. This should be plenty and all you'll need is two perfect runs to get to 2 mil+.

Hope this helps some people. Run starts at 20 seconds in.

Quick question, maybe a bit late.. but anyway: do you fire the nanites „blindly“? I mean, do they get a correct lock even if you have no direct line of sight to the heat vents? It looks like this in your video… Up to now, I always kept the vent to be hit next in my Cockpit sight, until the torpedo got on its way. Is that a false handling?

I thought about it just to test it out lol. I might try it, although with that speed, you might be lucky to get 4 vents.

Yes. As soon as you lock on, turn and boost towards the next vent so you can stay inside the vents. Fire the nanite torpedo as soon as you lock on. You do not need to be facing the vent once you fire and are locked on. It will guide to the vent and hit it every time.

We're doing that much better now ourselves, and with the resistance going way down, the bond amount is going up and up. Still insignificant compared to other ways to earn credits, however it is nice to get a little something for the time.

o7 Everyone

@Karmix @SergMx @Rhialto In the end I went with my engineered Anaconda an was hitting 3-5 vents and made 900k, 700k and finally 1300k in bonds. The reason, why I didnt went with the Type 10 is the convergeance of the weapons. I wasnt in the end sure if I would hit the pineapple.

My Anaconda flies ca. 350 and my Bi Weave held pretty well to escape the hyper-/interdictions. So it was quite nice.

Maybe I will try it with the type 10 aswell, but that convergeance bugs me at the moment.

All the best cmdrs o7

I miss corolis man, I just loved the UI so much better its sad because its dead now and pretty sure it has no thargoid weapons + the rest are out of date. Surprised its even still up

Finally had time to do a run today. Bonds are going up and up with the resistance coming down. We are hitting 6 mil+ now per run with about 45% damage done to the core in solo. 7 X the amount versus initial runs with the same build and core damage when Leigong was at max resistance. We'll try and record a run for each heart and see where we end up.

As far as I understand the guardian torpedo doesn't have a weapon limitation.
I.e. you can try to throw out the laser and put the 6th rocket launcher.

The resistance only changes at the weekly tick, and is also responsible for the payout amounts. So what you're getting now is pretty much the most you're going to see before it dies.

Apropos the T10 comments, e.g.

A youtube video showing a solo Type 10 hitting a titan for maximum damage (to 0% core!) turned up in my recommends. Maybe it's of some interest?

As per the video and description, it's a demo, not a practical plan, not least because it uses synthesized premium ammo. I found it an impressive watch all the same.

The build is in the video description.

Very good.
But your link I have is giving me wrong information. Light case instead of heavy, in slot 5 is the 3rd module amplifier, no protection against caustic, no pulse neutralizer.

your link

It's the build link in the video description. I take no responsibility for it.

However, it might be that pulse neutralizer and caustic sinks weren't available on coriolis when the video was made? 🤷

The choice of lightweight alloy armour is probably for speed?

It's a T10, the difference between the heaviest and lightest is 5-7 m/s no more.
