They are giving the F7A away for free if you complete a bunch of missions*
*and buy a F7C Mark II that they did just release

Sold as an upgrade years ago for the US holiday Veterans Day.
Nerds got mad it was a thing for a US specific holiday and it was pulled down.
Very few sold. Was originally like $20 or $25. Sold gray market for crazy amounts. At least several hundred dollars if not more.

Yep, the token for the F7A Mk2 Upgrade can be earned without owning a F7C Mk2.
However, the token can only be used on a store-bought F7C Mk2.
Star Citizen doesn't support upgrading in-game earned ships using CCUs or tokens; it might do in the future, but such a feature hasn't been officially stated as planned.

To be fair his offline titles are a bit healthier.
But the gossip about him is not shining, and my impression of him has always been: 'Guy acclimated to CIG-corpo yes-manning'. Not sure he's exactly the steering hand CR needs.
