I think I've had enough exobiology for now. Not as lucrative this time out so it'll be time for a revisit to this area at some point. I'm going to head back to the bubble and do some stuff there.

It seems to me they've made this stuff harder to find (Fungoida Gelata), the colony's are smaller and very scattered.

Nah! It's obviously a fault in your equipment, you should engineer a new set of everything so you can get rid of the fault ridden stuff.
I just tried her out for maybe 15 jumps and I like her. It was headphones and no mic so I didn't test any voice activated stuff, and she might be a bit talky if I'm listening to something.

Hopefully the settings allow me to stop her telling me how many jumps I have left. It's kinda like being at work and someone's reminding you of the time every ten minutes. I don't wanna hear that.
I wasn't really big into TNG and became a full blown Trekkie with DS9. I'm pretty certain I missed the Locutus episodes.
I have to admit that I didn't really know the first - STO's map only shows systems that were relevant to the show, thus you don't really get a sense for distances.
But it makes sense to put a first line of defense there. Sadly, it got eradicated before it could show any effect.

I think I'll do that actually. A friend was insisting that I watch TNG even as I marathoned TOS* last year, but I'm kinda meh on the whole thing. Maybe it's best that I jump into the middle with something I find interesting before starting from the beginning.
*Easily my favourite series now.
Oh yeah, just looking at it and there's a lot of detail. I might need to experiment a little.
