I think I've had enough exobiology for now. Not as lucrative this time out so it'll be time for a revisit to this area at some point. I'm going to head back to the bubble and do some stuff there.
This is a little weird. I think I might like it. Maaaaaaaybe..I have it installed on my computer, running along in the background. I don't have Voice Attack or any other fancy stuff, so I mainly use it to keep me company out here and tell me interesting stuff like if the next stars are scoopable or not, if I am far enough from the last sample to get the next one or having her prepare some tea and cookies when I return to the ship.
I'm not home in Cubeo or Wolf 359 but I hear the bartenders are pretty good.I think I've had enough exobiology for now. Not as lucrative this time out so it'll be time for a revisit to this area at some point. I'm going to head back to the bubble and do some stuff there.
It's all in the settings. This is a little weird. I think I might like it. Maaaaaaaybe..
As long as Sonya doesn't get too gabby and interfere with a podcast.
I'll give her an actual flight test later.
Well, that was something which jumped right at me when I first saw it on the map...I don't even recall knowing that Wolf 359 was a Star Trek reference until someone mentioned it to me a week ago. Completely unrelated to Elite.
Nah! It's obviously a fault in your equipment, you should engineer a new set of everything so you can get rid of the fault ridden stuff.Yalp.
I think I've lost my CZ touch. Just won my first one back from the black but it extremely touch -and-go. Need to hone those reflexes back up again.
I blame osseus.
I just tried her out for maybe 15 jumps and I like her. It was headphones and no mic so I didn't test any voice activated stuff, and she might be a bit talky if I'm listening to something. It's all in the settings.
I wasn't really big into TNG and became a full blown Trekkie with DS9. I'm pretty certain I missed the Locutus episodes.Well, that was something which jumped right at me when I first saw it on the map...
But I guess after playing STO for many years that comes quite natural. as they erected a memorial in Wolf 359 in honour of all the lives lost at that fateful day.
I have to admit that I didn't really know the first - STO's map only shows systems that were relevant to the show, thus you don't really get a sense for distances.Wolf 359 comes to my mind as being one of the nearest stars to our sun first, the star trek episode based there is a close second though.
Good idea.Nah! It's obviously a fault in your equipment, you should engineer a new set of everything so you can get rid of the fault ridden stuff.
They do. And much, much more. Plan in some time for getting through all the settings...I just tried her out for maybe 15 jumps and I like her. It was headphones and no mic so I didn't test any voice activated stuff, and she might be a bit talky if I'm listening to something.
Good though. Thanks for the recommend.
Hopefully the settings allow me to stop her telling me how many jumps I have left. It's kinda like being at work and someone's reminding you of the time every ten minutes. I don't wanna hear that.
I bet there would even be something interesting for me in that list...Good idea.
Would you like all my old stuffs so you can experiment with it? For science?
If you want to take a look, the episodes were Season 3, Episode 26 - Best Of Both Worlds and Season 4, Episode 1 - Best Of Both Worlds, Pt.II.I wasn't really big into TNG and became a full blown Trekkie with DS9. I'm pretty certain I missed the Locutus episodes.
No Omnipol mole here? Fine.I bet there would even be something interesting for me in that list...
I think I'll do that actually. A friend was insisting that I watch TNG even as I marathoned TOS* last year, but I'm kinda meh on the whole thing. Maybe it's best that I jump into the middle with something I find interesting before starting from the beginning. If you want to take a look, the episodes were Season 3, Episode 26 - Best Of Both Worlds and Season 4, Episode 1 - Best Of Both Worlds, Pt.II.
Was a mean cliffhanger back then, with BOBW Pt.I airing on June, 16th, 1990, while the second part would air on September 22nd, 1990.
Oh yeah, just looking at it and there's a lot of detail. I might need to experiment a little. They do. And much, much more. Plan in some time for getting through all the settings...
