that is my least favorite part and the part that would get me the most. and you cant real practice it because it is so far into the run and the run takes so long.

Petey then spent a long while discovering that he couldn't loot any of the NPCs he'd killed prior to backspacing. Before getting nailed by invisible turrets at his next mission. Before punching drugs that refused to react. Before this happened...
(He's also convinced he's losing FPS after every respawn...)
And I'm pretty sure he didn't hit this hill.

So here it's all low-flying, which is a bit more understandable, but sometimes they're in totally empty locations 1000s of metres from anything.
It's proper bad.

OK, I'm installing it again. Not played since... 3 or 4 patches I think. Maybe 5. Every time I asked, my friends who are fans of the project and know my attitude to SC kept telling me "Just wait for another patch, this will be it! You'll see!".
They tell me that now as well, 3.23 or whatever the next one is supposed to fix it all and be the saviour of my attitude to SC.
They have a new launcher now! It is better than the old one and definitely much better than Elite one.But why does it have 3 progress bars at times, and at times only 2? One of them seems to be getting replicated, but only for parts of the download (My bad it was a horizontal scroll silder, which just happens to look exactly the same as the download progress bar. I thought it's forever stuck and 50% )
I'm really curious to see what the whatever version I am downloading plays like.

maybe once 3.23 settles out to a normal level of SC bugs in a few months. no need to do it now.
although this is funny. 3 patches would be 3.18. the worst i can remember it being (recency bias for sure. 3.1 was probably worse). 5 patches ago was 3.16, the most stable and the best i think SC has been in a long time.
