Yeah. Would still prefer to get them as habitat animals so you can build custom exhibits for them. If they would be anything like the other habitat reptile their traverseable area would be so bad that they wouldnt be able to move a muscle in a realisticly sized tank either way

They said later in the year. I doubt that means June. It feels like it is the last pack. Maybe a larger animal pack, but they whould've said in the summer if it was just business as usual so i think it is Indeed the last DLC. And to be honest if it means we get trully highly requested animals with unique rigs, animations and high Quality models (coati, mara, spider monkey, secretary, ducks, pelican, etc) i don't mind waiting a bit longer. We have enough to play with in the mean time.
I don't mind waiting longer either! I just think that it coming in June is very likely based on previous patterns. And later this year doesn't nessacarily mean late in the year. It simply just means not now. I really don't think that Frontier would tell us anymore that as when to expect no matter when it's going to be released.

I have also the Feeling that the next Pack will be regular again in late June or maybe early July. I think that the Release of the Console Edition Just moved the Spring Pack a few weeks later because of Marketing reasons. And two months between two Packs would not happen the First time as it is kind of normal between Autumn and Winter pack releases. And I do not believe it will be the last pack we get.
As time is money for a company and only new content brings fresh money this will not be the main point for the choosen time the next DLC coming out. Be it the last (which I do not believe) or not the last.

True. But if they do take all that time i expect at least 12 animals
As Leaf said, they may have chosen something basic without many new rigs and things so that they can have more time for the last DLC
Going Of Of The Barnyard Animal Pack And JWE2'S Next DLC I Could See Us Getting A Marine Animal Pack. The Evidence:
- JWE2's Recent Packs Have Been Divisive So Was Barnyard And Same Thing With Marine Animals At The Current Time
- Like Barnyard The Main Update Feature/Features Could Apply To A Wide Variety Of Base Game And Dlc Animals (The Update Features Would Be Animals Giving Birth In Water And Vets/Caretakers Dropping Animals Straight Into The Water) Stuff Like Hippos, Monitors, Otters, Platypus, Sea Lions and, Crocodilians
- The Theme Could Work As A Similar Animal Pack To Barnyard Or Regular Style Animal Pack
- The Theme Is Often Highly Requested Outside The Forum
I have also seen his video but this is is really highly speculation of him I think. My thoughts onto that are that there was one animal less because we got scenery pieces instead. I even think this pack could have been connected with more working effort than any other animal Pack we have seen so far. Especially alongside the new guest mechanics which was implemented also for various older species. And I do not really see much difference between this pack and the past packs regarding animals with lower effort and higher effort.
Leafs point isn’t that there was one less animal but that the animals were generally more simple with no complex rigs
