Update, update time 🕑

I was inspired by ongoing discussion in Spring DLC thread, but I did not want to clog that thread with animal lists. It's also interesting to check how my priorities have shifted, and how long I haven't thought of this.

Here goes

1. Arctic: Sea Otter
2. South America: Andean Bear
3. Australia:  Perentie
4. Aquatic: White Faced Duck
5. South East Asia: Reticulated Python
6. Africa: Hamadryas Baboon

8. Europe: Dalmatian Pelican
9. Wetlands: De Brazza's Guenon
10. Conservation: Geoffroy's Spider Monkey

13. Tropical: Black Howler
14. Arid: Rock Hyrax
15. Oceania: Short Beaked Echdina
16. Eurasia: Reeve's Muntjac

There it is, pretty South America and Primate heavy, which I think is realistic reflection of "holes" still left in game.

I agreed about African leopard and Markhor willing to be in that game. And if one more bear species will be there, so should the rest of all the bear species.

While I like your choices, I think some of them are too similar to other animal in the same pack. For example, your Australia Dlc would include both red and grey kangaroo. The conservation pack would have a siamang and a spider monkey and the South America pack a capuchin and a squirrel monkey. I personally prefer packs with a larger variety of animal types, especially since those are standard packs with 4-5 animals.

I love this idea. Knowing what was to come, here’s mine:
  • Deluxe: baboon
  • Arctic: puffin. Am I the only one that doesn’t want musk ox..?
  • South America: spider monkey
  • Australia: lorikeet.
  • Aquatic: some kind of pelican
  • Southeast Asia: langur (spectacled preferred)
  • Africa: B&W Colobus
  • North America: California condor
  • Europe: Eurasian Eagle owl.
  • Wetlands: swamp monkey
  • Conservation: whooping crane
  • Twilight: kinkajou
  • Grasslands: bat eared fox
  • Tropical: tamarin (any)
  • Arid: burrowing owl
  • Oceania: kookaburra
  • Eurasia: griffin vulture
  • Barnyard: turkeyyyyys
Not every single one is a primate 😬

So? This is a fantasy. If I was going back in time to add an extra animal to each DLC in real life then I might make different choices, but since this is just make-believe it doesn't actually matter. In any case these are my preferences. I don't care if they don't suit everyone. It's not an exercise in fairness (and I've said many times that there's literally no such thing as a "balanced roster"; the concept itself is stupid, as real zoo collections are not balanced).
