Is it held in any zoos outside of North America? Also I don't see how being a NA rep is a positive when it's probably the most well represented continent in the game.

. How is being cute a reason, all foxes are cute (cept Tibetan fox lol) and there are a bazillion more interesting cute animals (sea otter, tree kangaroo, pallas' cat, to name a few)

It's fine if you want it really, but don't expect the majority of people to think this animal is in any way needed when we already have 3 foxes in the game. It's not gonna work.
Why are you coming to a thread where we talk about an animal we like if you don't like it? There's literally no point except to say: hey, I don't like this. If you have nothing better to say, then don't say anything. A lot could be said about what we've already gotten or what's in demand
I don't think anybody is expecting the majority of people to want it anyway. Just because some people like it doesn't mean we're gonna force our opinions on others
The tanuki is actually a bit less basal even though it looks less fox like. Tanukis come mostly from the fox lineage which is represented in-game already. The grey fox lineage is not yet. Pallas' cat is not any more valuable when we have 11 felids as compared to 9 canids... Us North Americans want to create local zoos too! Only in your opinion the grey fox wouldn't be a good anniversary animal. Your last point I do agree with!
Always seems there is anti north american representation in this forum from our more noisy europeans. Im not anything near a canine fan but i do love building for them when the occasion arises, fennec fox is one of my favourite desert animals to build for. Getting a small filler animal for north america is always welcome, who knows maybe one day i can find a zoo that has them to build for.
