I found out where I can get one - and even unengineered, Coriolis says that the 3D is both lighter and has a higher jump range than my engineered non-SCO FSD. If that confirms, then that's a no brainer. But I'll need to actually do one or two trial runs this time, just to find out whether I'll also have to upgrade to the stock fuel tank. And schedule in a trip to Eurybia to visit bomb girl.

Started scouting the waypoints ... sheesh, this is hard! Got destroyed trying to find ward B of the medical facility and came extremely close to reporting that the Space Lanes Cargo container had been offloaded. I think I've found them all now tho' but stringing this lot into a cohesive run, now that is going to take some practice! I reckon this is going to be another fairly epic Buckyball Race ... once I've figured it out.
I didn’t mention engineering for regulation, you are correct. My assumption (wrongly) was that everyone knows that’s a no no, but I’ll update the rules and regs tomorrow to clarify that an unengineered missile rack is required. My Neanderthal lawyer brain hadn’t quite considered this one for the regulation class entry requirements. Thank you!
