Having my first experience with VR in ED I can heartily recommend flying around or driving around in VR. Being in the game is soooo much more immersive than looking at s screen.

Even on a Sidey (my usual ship) it's about two times the size of a car

Just look at the cockpit from different camera angles and it will help you realize how huge HUD actually is.

I will say VR does actually make you want to experience the other ships

I will say after walking around in NMS the VR implementation is rather a WTD moment

Go visit a Titan in VR, from the drop out to arriving at the Titan, it is one of the best VR experiences I've had.

And then realising that you can actually see all the signals being 3D shapes above and below the reference plane.

The size of the radar and gauges are not the main point (yes they are way bigger than you think) but their placement in perspective. Every set of information is on a different distance from you.

And the station interior.... oh!

Man oh man, when you - already experienced here - start VR Elite, it's a whole new world. You could be satisfied even playing simple trade loop all day long.

When you enter through the mail slot, just look over the canopy down at the pads to get a feel for how small you are and how much room you actually have to get through there. Your ship is huge, but that station is a monster.
