The Zoolympic Games

@Villanelle for Round 4, can we use blueprints or are we not?
Never any blueprints I'm afraid my dear. Mods are okay, and you can use the prefabs from within the game 💚

It keeps things fair because it limits what we can build within the time frame. If blueprints were allowed we could use lots of things we've built before. The vote about blueprints ended up like this:

Forms response chart. Question title: Should blueprints be allowed?. Number of responses: 8 responses.

Congratulations to every winner! The top three respectively four was actually also my personal favourites , I was sure I wouldn't stand a chance against you @Villanelle @Purple_Possum @Marvinb and @nightcat haha.
I have to say one more thing about your build @Villanelle : how in the world did you manage to build this amazing building in three weeks? Do you never sleep? Do your days have more than 24 hours?😂

Also, thank you all for your nice comments about my build! This truly made my day🥰

Congrats to you too Hugo! Yours was absolutely beautiful and you had some of my favourite animals in their perfect habitats 💚 I loved the idea of an over- and under-ground, it really worked with the species you chose, and your foliage looked very realistic. I just loved your living roof and how well the building blended into its environment.

I actually only had two weeks as I had family staying with me for one week and couldn't build! But around that, I got very little sleep and my 'real' work did suffer the consequences 😂 I was so exhausted by the time I made the video, I did it in one take and breathed a huge sigh of relief when it was done! There were lots of things I felt were unfinished but also lots of time wasted on the game crashing due to mod load and lagging due to inefficient building methods (the ceiling alone was over 6,000 pieces and really didn't need to be!) But overall I'm really proud of it and the lovely comments made my day :) I'm having a bit of a hard time at the moment with a big health scare so it's been a lovely distraction! I wish I had an aquarium bar in my house to chill out in 🐟

I hope the competition was fun for everybody and everyone deserves 10/10. Tens across the board! There should be more winner categories!

Congratulation everyone and thank you for the nice comments!

It's great how different the building styles and ideas are, very inspiring to try something new in the future.

@Villanelle Well deserved first place! Sleep is overrated anyway... ;)

Results correction!

@Hugo98 actually scored 200 points, putting them in joint third place with MarvinB!
The stars are yours to share! 🌟 🌟 I have edited the original results post.

Why the error? I had forgotten that Mr-Hyrax sent me their scores by DM, so they didn't go automatically into the sheet. I'm having a real day of derps! The top spots now actually look like this, it was all very tight at the top!

Oh wow.😍 Didn't expect this at all. Thanks so much everyone for your votes! And the most important thing: it was really fun!
But @Villanelle : Please catch up on some sleep :p

Well, had to redo part of section 1 of my project, but that was the biggest area to work on ( 3 animal habitat ). Section 2 is completed as well. Section 3 is almost complete ( last habitat needing animals and configuring. And then Section 4 ( second guest area ). I might just manage it within time, if I'm lucky.
My project is based on the real world location that one of the scenes from the film I thought of. Here's an image from there.

Oooh is it The Beach?

That's OK. I'll have to focus on either the body or the arms on those 3 days.
I mean 3 days feels like plenty for a single entity to be honest! Plus the days you already have remaining so that's six more from today, including today. Feel free to submit even if it's unfinished and you can let us know in the comments what you would have done with more time.

Finally Complete .. - I think.
I did originally have a boat ride going around the central habitat but, when I put the animals in, the racoons had tons of escape points wherever the boats would pass through.
So, as you can see, I opted for an overhead transport through it.

Overview sneak peek.
