Generosity is fineThese are so hard to judge....I feel like I am giving too many 5's across the board
[edit]
I went back through and judged slightly more harshly. I was being too generous. Phew! Now to actually submit the scores
If nobody objects, sure! Feel like this theme should be fully open to whatever inspires peepsFor the next round āMovie Sceneā can we do more than one scene? Thinking of doing a Disneyās Classics theme and have one scene from several movies.
Thanks Nightcat and hope you join us for another round in the futureFinished with voting, yay!
I probably won't be joning the next round, too much coming up on my schedule already, but I am looking forward to joining again. A lot of nice ideas in the line.![]()

Thank you!Sorry for the delay. I've just submitted my scores.
I had a think on what to do for the movie scene & I remembered the Deer scene in The Iron Giant. So I'm going to do that.THE THEME FOR ROUND 4 is..... Movie Scene!
Do with that whatever you will, all interpretations welcome. Looking forward to the variety and creativity!
Round 4 will start today and finish on Sunday 21st July, but as always please get in touch if you are running behind and would like a little extra time.
wowed at the first screen shot of the moon fountain, love the moon fountain!! big viewing screen display is cool & inspiring! this is stunning, Queen of pathwork, excellent ambience, starlit room is awesome with moon like reflection. all of it, the whole thing is epic. my fave!! :O the reef!!!!!!!!!!!!!! outstanding |
WOW! I'm blown away. It's so huge and so beuatifully made. The details are outstanding. |
This is far beyond too good. The poetic inclusion is just chef's kiss so good. |
Love the overall atmosphere. The centerpiece before the main entry is beautiful and the Blue Moon Bar with it's ceiling and water feature are just stuning! I wish I could visit it in real life. I'd sit for hours. The custom boards are a nice touch too. |
Ok, yeah, this is not on another level. Rather on another planet. I canāt believe you did this whole thing in three weeks ā I struggled to finish a fraction of this! The solar-system outside, the footprints leading in, the feeling in the different areas, this incredible star-water-room, ⦠just, wow. I do admit trough, that Iām a bit torn about your excessive use of mods. Especially the aquarium parts feel like you used another game, and Iām torn between hating you for it, because I canāt compare even if my building skills would match yours and between going on and crashing my poor computer with tons of mods myself. But the real problem is still: Look, I donāt want to rate the other very great builds worse, since they totally deserve the full five points. But you did the competition and so Iām very sorry but itās your own fault I canāt give you the points you deserve in comparison. |
Lovely starry night ceilling and custom sighs. The 10K hours definetly show |
Wow, I'm speechless! So much creativity, so much attention to details! So many great ideas packed into this project! And on top of that custom signs, poetry and unique animal species. WOW |
AMAZING! It's so creative and so beautiful with all the lights of the bioluminescent forest. |
Love the use of colored lights! It feels almost like stepping into the world of Pandora. |
It is a little bit to colourful for my taste, but I couldnāt bring myself to remove points for that, since you did actually a great job with the lighting and you deserve the points for a very impressive and beautiful build! |
The colors and lighting are stunning |
Enchanted and modern, I love it! That's why I love this game, I would never imagine it's possible to build something like that |
Are you...an architect? Honestly this just blows me away! So so good. The feeling of glowy space, the spectacular use of lighting, the bioluminescent forest - all so beautiful! |
Lovely lighting. |
Super realistic build of a nocturnal house that you'd see in real life zoos. A perfect example of those sort of dark walk throughs, instantly transported to the nocturnal houses i've visited. such neat and tidy building work. |
Really nice choice of species, lovely concept and fanstastic design of the habitats. |
Very realistic looking and very beautiful build. I think this could exist 1:1 in a zoo and you added a lot of small details everywhere. Loved the lighting and outdoor areas. |
It's perfect and so realistic! The tapir's and binturongs habitat is my favorite! The custom slow lori is just jaw dropping amazing |
You are such a talent! The loris - oh my goodness! It fits seamlessly into your existing tropical house and looks so inviting and realistic |
Wow! fantastic building and incredible example of a realistic underground building, love how it blends into nature like eco buildings do, and then inside the build/decor is such fantastic design. awesome work! |
One little nitpick that I have is that some variety of light color would be nice, but my criticism is miniscule compared to the detail and beauty of this build. |
Nice descriptions for an incredible build. Love how natural the habitats look ā nature outside, cave on the inside. The entrance-tunnel looks like it is a reused bunker. Wouldnāt change a single thing in this build. |
The outdoor enclosure look so lush and natural |
I love it! Beautiful, almost enchanted atmosphere! |
Gorgeous! I love the living roof. You build realistic-looking habitats just beautifully! |
Very creative. |
fabulous entrance, so cool! impressive building work, decor and planting. some very creative ideas throughout and wow! I love the big desert area with seating for talks! an awesome room! |
Awesome architecture, love the whole design of the building - outdoors and indoors. The snail exhibit is amazing. |
I like how you lit the paths |
Lovely entrance area and i really love the purple light that indicates the path |
This is so amazing! The neons, the gift shop and beautiful habitats! Great attention to details |
Wow - so many great ideas, gorgeously executed! I love the exterior design with living roof, the leopard skywalk, the glass-topped snail exhibit, the illuminated pathwalk - I could go on! You have a fantastic eye for design |
Nice idea of walking inside Clouded Leopard habitat. |
love how the building joins on to the outdoor habitats, this looks very real with a satisfying flow, similar features to a real life nocturnal walkthrough, great building work! |
Great entry, love the rusty Australian vibe of the building. I also like that all animals have outdoor habitats |
You added a few nice details, but could have added a few more. The downside of a big build I guess. Iām not a big fan of the lighting but I did like the outside areas and the theming. |
Really cool views into burrows and custom nest boxes |
I like the focus on Oceanian animals! It's a really nice built! |
Cool to have an Oceanian themed nocturnal house! Nice to give some of the animals outdoor access as well |
Beautiful entrance |
love the circular shaped viewing windows, that is so creative and looks amazing in a nocturnal setting! signs, decor & layout all amazing |
This is just way too good. |
Iām so in love with your nighthouse-plan! Great work giving insight in the build and how it all works! In addition I also really liked the build itself ā simple, but beautiful. I would have skipped the lights above the wending machines (or the wending machines altogether), since it destroys the atmosphere a bit but not even enough to lover the beauty-rating to a 4. |
Love the idea of it being a "self sufficient building with staff areas, watertreatment and all |
It's super nice, I love the custom signs! And the neons look perfect! Also, I love how you used the kiwi statue with an egg, amazing. |
Looks hyperrealistic, and I love the custom signs you made! |
Nice habitat for Caiman |
such a unique design, I especially love the lake and warm lighting. very interesting build |
Interesting and very unique idea how to build a nighthouse. Wasnāt expecting it to turn out that beautiful to be honest, but I really liked it. It feels like entering an underground world. |
Cool theming for each animal |
Such creative way to achieve real darkness inside of this building. I love it! I also especially love the look of African Crested Porcupine habitat! |
Amazing terrain work! Bet that was tricky. Love the whole concept and the bat cavern. |
lovely warm lighting throughout adds to the desert feeling. large porcupine enclosure is a great design, love this room. particularly like the entrance on this one! |
I would have preferred a few pictures in addition to the video. Overall a very nice build. My favourite was the bat cave. |
Amazing sign |
It's really good and I liked the presentation! The bat cave looks great! |
Great bat cave, and some really clever details like the nest boxes |
Such a unique and interesting network of paths and tunnels. It would be really cool to visit this place. love the cave lighting. excellent terrain creativity in this one |
I like that you build a cave instead of a building, therefore a unique look |
I like the idea of a nocturnal house under a mountain and the flames ā while not really realistic ā look great. You could have added a lot more details: for example the entrance or the exhibit viewing area look very unfinished as it is. |
Cool bat cave |
Well done on some really tricky terrain work! Nice lighting inside too |
still have no idea how you built that skull but such good effort! look forward to seeing more unique things that you build! particularly love the wonderful, large habitats, mesh decor and delicate street lighting |
Very interesting and unique choice of species. But I would have loved some more screenshots. |
Constructive criticism: I felt like I didn't get enough pictures to assess the build properly. |
I wish you had included a few more pictures. Maybe even a shot from the whole building. Itās hard to see anything inside the habitats, but especially the skull shelter was very impressive. |
The hyena skull is a really cool touch |
Really cool tiger skull! |
