If I remember we had a thread for a wishlist for every country and the Vatican consisted of just rodents and ducks
I want to find this now any idea where it would be.
Average planet zoo player forgetting both the Moose and Reindeer are found in the America’s
I will stand by my opinion that while technically a deer the moose does not fit a deer niche in a zoo game. Reindeer are technically deer from north america but they are generally associated more with europe or the arctic as a whole making them not really useful when someone whats to build an american deer habitat. Its really just a lack of a better word to say that the americas dont have a reasonable alternative to the style of deer europe has the red and fallow.
There's literally nothing stopping them from doing smaller animals like tamarins as habitat animals, it's a myth that the community likes to perpetuate but it isn't based on anything that has any technical relevance. There's nothing to fix, it works just fine.
They can technically do alot of things doesnt mean they are ideal at this stage adding the tamarin is just as bad as the existence of any of the other small animals we have such as prairie dogs and meerkats. The habitat system is overwhelmingly one sided towards large animals with oversized enrichment, everything having way too big Collison boxes and weirdly restrictive size limits.
guess that the tapir, peccary, llama and alpaca don't exist them.
If i'm being honest no latin america means no North and Central america animals, and im not that interested on the patagonia mara as most people here.
The bigger let down would be the absence of the spec bear, but we can't have only wins anyway, so...
I think its largely because the tapir we have barely and I mean barely has range in south america the llama and alpaca are domestics so therefore are so of displaced from their original source they dont count and the peccary even though it has more range into south america than the tapir is more associated with central america. A better term would be a predominately south american ungulate.
A latin america pack could definitely cover north and central america as there are still latin based countries in that area such as mexico though I still think a central america pack is what they will go with over latin america.
