I just got a PC and bought elite after console stopped getting updated and i come back to THIS
well i support what Fdev is trying to do. i wish it came alot sooner, Maybe the 2 people i got to buy the game and play would still be playing today, the game was just way 2 grindy for new players. I bought some arx last night just to grab the type 8 today. It helps Fdev to keep the game alive.
To be fair, this is the longest/largest maintenance I've ever noticed. Rarely do they take more than a few hours...Next time devs, add 2 hours onto the expected time for the game download to be there, then we'll all be pleasantly surprised when/if it arrives early

I say I wont buy arx to buy a ship as I am miffed (still!) about my life time expansion being a scam, but the T8 medium hauling capacity, speed, jump range etc are all very tempting...if only fdev would throw us LTE owners a bone now and then, 200 arx into the accounts per month would be a nice gesture...
I think I'm going to be about 2500 Arx shy of the asking price...so near yet so far

Likely, at this rate, it might only be up by that time anyway, we are not far off.

Haven’t played in about 2 years or so, dusted off the HOTAS tonight and was booted out. Alas, will have to wait for tomorrow

It isn't unusual for delays. Although I suspect my reasoning to be correct this time!
At least the servers should have got up to speed tomorrow!
