Mats mission rewards

One question to which I can't find the answer. Previously, if you had, say, 97 of 100 of any given material, you could not accept 4 or more of that material as a mission reward. The option was simply greyed out. Now that the rewards are so much more substantial, is that still the case? Will the higher numbers be completely wasted if you already have a decent stockpile?

Most times I have seen mats awarded for a mission if you do not have the storage capacity for all of the reward, that option is grayed out. It does not offer the option as a mission (but you can still take the mission). So presumably you could complete a mission, go to a material trader, make room, then hand in the mission.

What happens in the example of a reward for clearing a Thargoid system, I assume if it pays out more than your capacity, it just fills it up as far as it can. However I do not have experience of this, so will not claim it as truth.

Yup that's exactly how it's working at present.

Yes, because the second- order effects weren't thought of at all with this change.

I really think it's time they Pro-rata this for us. I.e. if we accept the reward of 20, when we have 81 already, as per @WILLIAM BILL ADAMA's example, it should give us an extra 5% on the CASH part of the reward perhaps and actually aware 19 units to fill us up.

To be honest, I'd be fine to lose one unit to get 19 and be full. That'd be a far easier thing to implement I imagine.
