Goliath is the second largest landable body in the Milky Way, Goliath has a staggering 24,404 km radius. It also features high gravity, at 4 times that of Earth.

Out-of-game I know it's pointless, but in-game when finding a new Earth-like world, I always make sure to fly around to its dark side, hoping to suddenly encounter a bunch of light dots representing cities or other artificial light sources of some unknown, probably not yet space-faring, civilization. Alas, to no avail so far...

Hello. All credits to the commanders who discovered and mapped this planet. I wanted to share the image because it is the first time I have seen a high metal content world with lava "skin" and atmosphere. Comments on this are appreciated. Thanks and regards !

Everyone's favorite (?) external galaxy peeking over the mountains.
BTW, has anyone a positive ID on this one? I've speculated it to be the Andromeda galaxy, but really that's just a guess...

(The image is actually a slight "cheat" in that it is from the side image of a 3-monitor setup, which causes the scaling to distort somewhat, making objects appear larger than they would in the normal "front view". Hence the larger-than-usual size of this fellow.)

So, I landed at Cinder Dock and found that there was a big hill of rock in my docking bay. I had a wander over it, and managed to get out of the bay and on to the surface. Without a helmet. Not quite sure how I'm going to get back in, as the transparent wall I walked through is now a huge metal cliff...
