What do you mean.... if you have a mission for settlement with a small/medium pad you can't do it in anaconda. That's all.

I don't know such missions and I ask you to name me one ?
You can, you just can't dock on the landing pad. Given that I've found myself hostile with factions that own settlements I'm doing stuff at on more than a few occasions, landing 2km away out of range of the settlement weapons and driving up using my SRV has been a fairly minor inconvenience.
I never land at the pad for Ody missions anyway. I do have access to a C4 and I use a V4 for Ody work. Its footprint makes it easier for me to ignore landing pads.

oh, sure you can land near the pads or anywhere around the settlement, but you cannot trade anything nor can you access the settlement ship mission board.
I thought we were talking about the Odyssey missions. I don't remember accessing the Odyssey mission from the ship ...
And over time made that missions can be handed over from the ship, but in any case, access to them was only from terminals or people.
P.S. My point is that there's nothing special about the Cobra Mk4 ship, otherwise we'd be hearing cries of P2W every day for 10 years.

Anyway, I use small ships with dumb rockets or flak cannons to clean the settlement from pirates, anaconda is too big for me to do that because of the 100 meter steel nose
But about Cobra and P2W. We have now just prebild for arx and people constatnly write about P2W

And the Cobra Mk4 situation would be much worse. You couldn't even pay to win. So really the Cobra Mk4 is a completely useless and passable ship.

But I, for example, can't understand why you can't sell CobraMk4 only for ARXs now. Surely there will be people who will buy it.
And it can simply be regarded as support for the project.
Because, i don't know, maybe as a cope mechanism, people always said Cobra Mk4 is a crap ship. Like in: you dont have access to Cobra Mk4? No worries, it's a bad ship and you will not be flying it anyways.
And maybe it was a bad ship (along with all the other small ships) in Horizons. (No, it wasn't -it's the small pad Python and the perfect small miner)
But once Odyssey was launched, along with the 400,000 settlements they added, small ships started to gain importance for a various of reason.
As i said, if i had access to a CM4, i would be flying it instead of my DBX, for Odyssey settlement related content, but not only.
But anyways, this thread is about Mandy... and maaybe, maaaaybe, FDev should really consider releasing a new small ship, maybe a Cobra Mk5 if not original CM4
There are lots of long and boring threads with much acrimony from all parties about the what’s and why‘s of the Cobra Mk4 I would suggest reading those rather than resurrecting them in this thread about a new ship and getting the moderators upset.

Yea, but the product they offered the deal to, no longer exists.
Horizons was folded in the base game and now we have the base game and Odyssey - as such, they could have used that to unlock the C4 for everyone.
They also said they will never sell in the store (for money/arx) anything else except cosmetic that have no ingame impact - and now they're selling ships for arx...
So the "we must stand tall and keep our promises" ship had sailed some time ago.

The Cobra III runs circles around any Cobra IV (which is a lame duck even when engineered), but I see it's a Matter of Faith and got no time to argue

it certainly does, but it cannot take off with 72t of cargo, shields, weapons and a pair of each HRPs and MRPs to strengthen that hull a bit and do some pve combat while doing small pad trading
