Because of this:
It was a business agreement. FD needed the money right then and there, offered this deal for our help. As a limited one time only offer.

Whether there are now people who'd buy it is totally irrelevant. In essence, it comes down to this:

You say that, and while I don't disagree with you, Frontier's attitude has changed, I keep bringing this up (and will keep bringing it up).All those things you say have absolutely no connection with this:

And they are keeping to their side of this business deal we made.
Here's an example, from the recent Frontier Unlocked
I can see everyone putting it all in the chat excellent uh we're going to talk a little bit about Planet zoo console so we have seen all of the messages people have been asking and they would like the pre-order bundle or the bundle that came with the pre-orders uh and they are now going to be available as a DLC so that

So this idea that Frontier will honour previous agreements and keep things exclusive is rubbish now. Frontier have literally nullified any reason to pre-order anything they intend to make and sell in future. The whole point of pre-order exclusives is to incentivise you to buy it before it is released and thus offer you exclusive items you won't get once it has released. This is where the Cobra mkIV sits. There is NO reason it can't be now sold in the store for arx. Anyone still saying it's an exclusive item is hanging on to some sort of out-of-date entitlement that is now just meaningless.
And to Doctor Dread, whom I quoted, please do not think I am picking on you specifically, I am not, I am just countering why the Cobra mkIV can't be sold in the store, when it absolutely can be, if Frontier choose to do it. (I also have no idea how everyone else missed the significance of pre-order thing in the livestream).
