Cut maintenance panel on satellite wont fall

Wondering if anyone else is having the same problem as me. Im cutting the maintenance panel on the "big dish" satellite for the part recovery missions and it wont fall. Ive cut from many different angles, standing, crouching, different locations, different planets, tried hitting it, shooting at it, No Joy. Im just grinding missions for materials and this is a pain. About 1 in every 2 of the missions I have this problem.
Is there something Im doing wrong, or else just avoid these missions?

Thanks for the posts all. Yeah, Ive tried cutting from so many angles and relogging so many times. Only benefit is data. Bummer is having to abandon the mission. If kicking it would be possible (like Duke Nukem) or maybe a large magnet on a fishing pole.

Simple. You need a multi-stage device. In the middle is the suction cup. Around that we place a small dome which gets filled with some sort of gas. We'd probably have to seal around the edge of this with some kind of sealant to maintain a good seal but that should work fine, right?

When it happened to me last time I tried shooting it from 17 different angles and blowing it off with grenades to no avail. Next time I'll try punching it. I completely forget melee exists, only remembering it briefly when I see another Artemis suit with melee damage mod at a Pioneer's—you know, for when you really need to punch that third No-Fun-Goida sample you spent five hours searching for in the face (or whatever counts as "face" on a space mushroom)—but I have little faith it helps🤪

Which is understandable seeing as you can bounce a multi tonne SRV off them at speed with no effect.

You can get whatever is under that panel. Just move to the left side there is gap where panel fall off a bit. Its few pixels but u can fiand it and press E :)
