Penny has been threatened by the narrator upstairs. I don't suppose she knows it but I think maybe the first time she buys the farm in the roughly engineered Mamba. Depending how well it is to fly, it might take a couple of losses to really kill her good.

It's funny she grew about 4X as rich as Rupee but still approximately 2:1 assets:liquidity. Rupee had about 2.5B:5b and Penny about 10B:20B.

And she's like "You think that's funny? But I'ma gonna die!"

I believe mats given to you to carry out a mission, such as Power Regulators, are marked this way so you know which ones are for personal.
There is a way of transferring/selling the marked ones so that they are cleaned and can be used, without that they would be stolen goods. This is based on fragments read on other bits of the forums.

The missions have doubtless expired long ago.

I think I'll have to check the items that are marked.

I can't remember having had any on foot missions that required any mats, but last time I did those is quite some time ago, so who knows...

At one point, the easiest way to acquire a power regulator was by taking on a restore mission & keeping the provided regulator - this was subsequently “nerfed” i think… i still have a few though, as well as other blue mission related items - these are typically from missions that failed (buggy AX Restores being a prime suspect), or again, where the mission item was preferable to the reward on offer… :)

I had some failed missions long ago - ran out of time without knowing it. I wasn't used to these short duration missions. And there was at least one mission where I was tasked to recover something from a crashed vehicle, but nobody told me I would have fo face adversaries in multiple waves... Which isn't good if you don't have any experience with FPS gameplay.

Not just you, it is a weakness of the FdL. I try to engage with a bit more range as that reduces the angle, also keeping the target more on the nose of the ship rather than the centre of the HUD and if jousting try to pass above the target though that does shut down some of the other weapons.

The nice thing about its sister ship the Mamba is all the weapons are on the top, though if you have the green weapons colour and a huge beam laser prepare to be dazzled.
