Genetic Repair Meds

I've read forums, guides etc. yet still these elude me. I need a grand total of 1 for the engineer unlock and then hope I never need any again.

The drop rates are either stupidly low or I'm just unlucky haha.

Anybody selling one? If you're close to my current system, HIP 45957, even better!

Unfortunately I'm in the same boat! I've tried the guides but I've also looted and pillaged every type of room in every type of settlement, occupied and unoccupied, and still am missing 1 or 2. I've been too pig headed to just buy it, but INARA lists a bunch of carriers with them for sale:

I feel your pain man. Money is no object to me... the referral for Terra V is holding me up haha.

I've seen them for sale for 10M each, which I can afford. Was hoping some less greedy CMDR might have an odd one spare.

Did you check the on-foot mission boards? The material rewards were greatly expanded recently, so you might find them there.

Worst case, my main might have some on his carrier. It will be 6 hours before I can verify though (stuck at work).

IIRC they're usually in large locked lockers - so you need to cut some. RNG can be harsh, but they're not really rare

Anyways i have some, drop me a pm/conversation here and if you are in the bubble you can dock with my carrier and get some

I once bought a few genetic repair meds myself , kept an eye on inara commodities for sale thingy, then got the last one or two I needed. Couldn’t bear doing a bunch more restore missions to maybes or maybes not find any. Found it to be feast or famine for me, can find three or four in a row then nothing for a while .

10 mill is a bit steep I know but that doesn’t even cover a fleet carriers upkeep for a week.

Thanks dude. I got sorted. CMDR Northpin kindly sold me one... much cheaper :D
