Tbf this is a very blur image, you can't even tell what type of monkey this is
It feels like a Tibetan/Chinese Festival scenery pieces, good choice
I'm really happy that they finally did a teaser, which I consider being a step on getting a bit more transparent. On the other hand, this definitely doesn't seem like a final pack.
I'm not excited for the African leopard, as probably every other species that I could think of occupying this spot would fit better. But well...
The monkey (sadly) look definitely like a Hamadryas, judging by these "tuffs" on the head. And I got to be honest, but this Paula's cat doesn't look good at all, really hope they consider doing some improvements before the release.

And they are very fluffy which makes them look a bit chonky IRL.
If the pack is either Mountains or another Asian theme, there is one animal that could fit in either theme...

Either way, it was requested. I'd see that name pop up on equal terms to the Amur, and it's the typical leopard, the one most people think of. It's been in various other zoo games and is a key species for Africa. It plays a whole different part that the Amur or Jaguar do not play. Amur is basically a reskinned snow leopard, honestly

This is the perfect choice to bring in tree kangaroo and my fat boy the marmot, sifaka also makes sense.
So far I'm pretty disappointed in the pack.
The two animals we've sort of seen look pretty weird, and seeing the theme of the pack I doubt it will bring anything exciting for me. The Markhor is cool but everything else... I don't really care.
We're 99% getting another bear (yay...), perhaps a marmot (hopefully not) and maybe even my much dreaded muskox (please no.)

No, it's very explicitly the Hamadryas baboon. That much is obvious to anyone who knows what they look like compared to any of the other commonly discussed monkeys. There's no mistaking those puffs on the side of the head.
Dude, we literally got markhor, baboon and pallas confirmed. American flamingo couldnt have appeared in a Mountain pack with Chinese themed decorations.
In their winter fur they look even fatter irl.
I think it looks a bit cartoonish, too. But I want to see it ingame first. Maybe it's the angle.
