DLC18 discussion and predictions

African Leopard as a free update isn't for me, but Frontier has a huge commitment to conservation. As the last of the Big 5 for safari and conservation enthusiasts, I understand it's placement.
Ah yes i allways show my commitment to conservation by adding an animal with next to no zoo presence in a zoo game, that allready exists in the game, twice if your blinking when looking at the jaguar, just so that we can honor a term from big game hunting to signify the importance of how great it is that rich white man came to africa to kill its largest native wild life, pushing 4 out of 5 to the brink of exctinction.

Really thats how we show our commitment to conservation guys, well done frontier im so impressed

no wonder why the leopard/anniversary update will come earlier. One day after anniversary is planco 2 release, that would cannibalize. I have a little but little hope they will release a surprise dlc for christmas like they did all these years. Also no wonder if for christmas there will be a dlc for planco 2.

I’m not trying to be pessimistic or anything but I still believe that this will be the last pack. I know that it’s more likely to be a highlands/mountains/alpine DLC than a zookeeper’s collection, but there are some things to consider.

1. They’re releasing the anniversary animal a few weeks before the anniversary, likely to begin focusing more on PC2.
2. I personally don’t see them continuing to make DLCs after PC2s release so that they can, once again, focus more on PC2.
3. The third CMS game is likely going to be PZ2 which would come out in only 2 years. Continuing to make content would only shorten that gap and eventually there would be no point in making a PZ2, at least not yet.
4. The last DLC for PC didn’t indicate that it would be the last, other than the price, so why should that be the case for PZ?

I'm really excited by what I see here and if it really is a mountain animal pack then I hope we'll get the spectacled bear, the tibetan fox and the alpine marmot (or the hyrax, which would be even better).
