DLC18 discussion and predictions

Could it be a more Asia/ Old World theme?
I would expect a red color scheme for an Asia Pack and we just had Eurasia. Old World is a really weird theme that I just don't see Frontier doing. I mean, what would the pack art for an Old World Pack even look like? And if this is why is it so heavily themed around mountains and why isn't an animal like the secretary bird in it.
Cuz is boring. Elk is much cooler NA deer. Any of the other animals you mentioned are leagues more interesting than the deer. I would like turkey, coyote and ABB.
Yeah, please no white-tailed deer. Elk are so much better.

But those flags and lanterns are not unique to the Tibet/Himalayas and they have not been confirmed to represent that.

Also why is there a Zookeeper in the cover? Has that happened before? If it is the first time a Zookeeper is clearly and purposely shown here is because it has some significance imo.
Well yeah there are not unique to the Himalayas, but that doesn't mean they aren't present and iconic there too. We don't have confirmation that they are, but I find that point irrelevant because we wont have any "confirmation" unless the artist tells us directly.

The zookeeper is there because the artist thought it was nice. People are really reading too much into this pack art. When we all first saw it we thought Highlands and now people are picking apart details that don't matter.

If this was a Zookeeper's Collection Pack we would tell because the image would be completely different. Different animals, different color, different environment, and different embellishments. If I'm wrong about all this, I blame the artist for being incredibly misleading.

This is a teaser and hint obviously, I'm really into this key part of a Zoo keeper being there. Maybe it is really a Zoo keeper collection. If so, expect 3 more teaser images for a total of 12 animals and take those dictionary animals to heart.

Wapiti are cool but the white-tailed deer is far more exotic and less similar to what we have in the game.

Although, the sea otter, Muskox, wild turkey and North American porcupine are the most interesting and exciting North American species not in the game.

Planet zoo always has 2 slots wasted, but I'm genuinely happy. We were asking for small ungulates and we got one.
Yeah but this being the last pack all sloths should be used for fairly requested animals. Tbh the Sifaka hasn't come up much as a need for the game in the past few years. It is a cool addition but when you could give the community a duck, new world monkey, coati, more habitat birds whatever they are for the same amount of work or even less then why pick the Sifaka?

At this point i honestly have no feelings about this last pack whatsoever. Maybe slightly happy about some of the animals revealed l. But since i know they will probably ignore SA and Birds once again (or at least the animals i want) i have no expectations about this DLC so in the end i really don't care if the Sifaka ends up showing up or not but it would be a very controversial pick.

At least the dik dik has been mentioned frequently when talking about small ungulates which is a niche it still needs to be fill.

Sorry genuine question: how is the White tailed deer more exotic? After the red deer i think is the most generic deer i can think of.

We still have 2 slots left so hope has not been lost yet for atleast 1 or 2 south american animals. The exhibit is probably King Cobra/Chameleon.

I think its clear this is the final pack and this is probably a celebration/collection pack.

Anniversary update releasing with DLC Update, we got a Small Ungulate, the Sifaka, Palla's, Markhor, Tree Kangaroo, Hamadrya's, African Spurred Tortoise, Secretary Bird and Echidna.

We still have 2 habitat animal slots open and 1 exhibit.

Yeah but what if like we have been saying this is just the first of several cover arts for the same pack? If it is a wrap up pack and bigger than usual with animals from all around the world that would be a good way to reveal the roster. Maybe next week we get a Orange/yellow cover art with three savanah/grasslands/desert animals (idk secretary, honey badger and tortoise). And the other week you get a Green cover with three tropical animals (Sifaka, coati, Tamandua) and so on.

Wapiti basically look the same as red deer. White-tailed deer represent a whole new tribe of deer and are extremely distinctive looking in comparison. I appreciate that if you are North
American, this may not be the case.
I'm South american actually. We have marsh, pampas, huemul, pudu, brockets and White tailed deers here ( as well as invasive red, fallow and Chital) and among all of those options i think the WTD is only above the brockets for me which would be in the bottom of the list for which of those i would like haha

Sorry for assuming! Either way they’re still exciting from a European perspective.

Although I would rather southern pudu or Père David’s deer
