DLC18 discussion and predictions

Speaking of missing rare animals, when i was at duisburg i missed all of the devils, wombats and echidnas which made me real sad.
Well in return i saw really active tree kangaroos and koalas, so you win some you lose some i guess
If it makes you happy, tassies and especally wombats are regular no shows.
Havent seen the wombats ever and the tassie only once in 5 visits, but that time the little homie really put on a show.
Echidna is heavily weather dependend, most of the time when theres good weather you can find them outdoors, but especally when its cold it allways is a good call to look at the ground portion of the koalas interior

Can they access the koala interior? When i was there the first koala enclosure had the longnose potoroo signed, which i also didnt see :D

Devils really isn't surprising, it's pretty rare to see them outside or active in general.

In the case of wombats, the Hairy-nosed one at Adelaide Zoo likes to hang out under the lip of the arched concrete fence, so you have to really lean over most of the time to see it.

There's only one Echidna at Adelaide, it paces around in the walkthrough rainforest Aviary, but I do like the way they waddle.

I did see one on a hike at Belair a few weeks ago, it was making a fair bit of noise under a log. On that same hike I saw an Emu for the first time in the park.

They should or atleast they did. Theres a behind the scenes video where the echidnas are weightef where you can see into the koala backstage below the visitor area and there theres a connection between the backstage cages of the echidna and the interior area show if i remember.
Either way lovely vid to see a backstage area + cute echidnas being fat and happy

I don't think we will receive anything today or even this week, as the wording on the stream make me think we won't see pz news this week.

With that said, i would find both hilarious and quite genious if they drop something today, considering that Zoochosis just released.

Idk I think this week is possible I think next couple of weeks meant like the full cycle: announcement, social media posts, release. It definitely has to be October

And to add, if it's an animal pack for sure then they'd need at least 7-8 days to showcase each individual species. Plus extra days to show off the new scenery pieces (if any), so we could be looking at another 2-4 days, making it between 9-12 days between the announcement and the DLC drop
