Lol, am in the UK and it's not. (I'm still not at work though...)There's no movement on steamDB at all today. Are we sure it's not a holiday bank in UK?

The social media posts have been later than they used to be as of late. And, as folks have noted, we've gotten trailer drops later in the day previously. So I wouldn't necessarily rule out the next hour. But at this point, I'm guessing there's about a 10% chance for that. 90% we get something next week.
What I find funny/interesting about all of this is that we, as fans, tend to jump right to "they don't care" or "they're not paying attention." When the more likely scenario is that there's just other stuff going on.
Like, I'm noticing there's been zero SteamDB activity since last night. Which makes me wonder if there's some sort of big meeting or general training everybody needs to attend. Maybe somebody had to take unexpected personal time. Maybe the trailer was accidentally corrupted so they're re-creating it. Or maybe they had to wait until the build hit a certain point to create the trailer and they just hit that point the other day. Or whatever... I'm not saying these things are happening but when the community hits this boiling point, I can't help but think about my own job and the reasons certain things don't happen when we wish they would. And there's so many reasons stuff can not happen as planned.
I'm not excusing the total absence of social media presence the last week or so but I can't help but read things like "Why so late?!! They are torturing us!!!" and snickering, realizing it could very well be because the person who needs to press "send" on the posts is stuck in a training about some new HR training for half the day.

Idk about u guys, but I'm so disappointed like this day is literally perfect for news than announcing it on a random Tuesday- It's just annoying how we waiting for this DLC for like 5 months and the wait still continues. Frontier r really not good in interacting with their community and It's just disappointing how well this day could've been for announcement.. but oh well...

Important to keep in mind both of those packs were announced while we weren't in British summer time so they were announced at 3pm UK time. (FYI the UK is still in summer time until the end of this month)
I remember especially because I was in work when the announcement for Tropical dropped and I finished work at 15:30 at the time.

I can see this, but it's still surprising to me that they've gone for absolute silence on this particular day. How long does it really take for someone - anyone - to put a two-line message on social media?
I guess we could still see something today, and if we do I will eat humble pie, but I'm not expecting it this late in the day.
But if trailer releases are never on a Friday weekend, we might rule out a trailer release today because Frontier won't be changing their formula of how they run things.
Yes: Twilight, Grasslands and Eurasia were all announced on Fridays. Also the free update for the Wetlands pack, on a Friday the week before the pack announcement.

This is super weird. Nothing has been announced this late in the day before. As someone mentioned it was British summertime, so the announcements were at 2pm UK time for Barnyard and Oceania. Yes stuff has been announced this late (tropical and grasslands) yes stuff has been announced on Friday (Twilight, Grasslands, Eurasia)
