Michael, please reconsider this. Knowing that a full wipe is coming really limits my desire to accomplishing things in the game.

It makes sense, they don't want people to get stuff earlier than the regular buyers cause there may be bugs we can exploit to get credits faster or they might make tweaks to our ships that changes the ship alot.

C'mon man, think it through. They want a clean test of the finished game before it goes live. You signed up to the Beta and knew what that meant. Enjoy the new features and just roll with it.

What is a Greeble and how do I bake one?

Microdetail on models to make them look more complex and you bake them by making them a permanent element of its surface instead of assembling them with individual parts. How that works in 3D programming, I don't know.

Can't see anything new in Tutorials in 3.09-either in list or by accessing tutorials after download -that is going to help all those Beta newbies and those on signing up on 16th December get started easily.
Still no obvious guide to essential keys- (needed particularly as pressing the space bar before selecting an option with "W" or "S" causes a CTD-which is hardly going to impress or imbue with confidence!)!
Maybe Gamma?

Not sure but I will ask few questions about change log, did they fix the fps stutter near planet rings and stations during supercruise? And fps stutter inside of the station? If those are fixed then I will play it again.

Asking question again... seems that it was ignored.

Downloading this now, just bought beta access for a friend yesterday so while I'm not looking forward to the progress wipe (I fully understand though - don't want the Alpha and Beta folks starting way ahead of the preorder folks, after all!), I'm looking forward to exploring space with my friend! He's gonna be my hired merc, so now I'll finally have a way of paying him for protecting me, and I'm happy about that, even if it isn't quite a credit transfer yet.

I'd sure admire to have a pilot's log too. Tired of having post-it notes plastered all over my monitors and computer case.

That empty monitor between your legs would be the perfect spot for this. Along with radio station and music player controls :)...
