I feel like my message earlier on could have come off as a bit rude. That wasn't the purpose.
In fact, I have nothing but respect for Frontier, considering how they still tried to give us another pack 5 years into the game's lifespan - and with pretty good quality aside from some minor problems. I love this pack and I wouldn't really change anything about it.
However I also think that we should accept that PZ has kind of run its course at this point. I'd just rather see the game end here than go on and get worse and worse.

I also never will get this "get worse and worse" comments. Community Engagement, perhaps. But the animals look good as usual to me. The Pack IS composed nearly the Same as usual (1-2 stars plus a Lot of middle wished animals). Some animals do have a higher quality some do have a bit lower quality (on high Standards). But all in all the animals Look great to me. And that is the important thing to me. If the Game will end it will end. But for myself I see no advantage of a Support end compared to a undefined waiting period.

I can imagine the Pallas cat regardless is a difficult face to get right with all that fur and permanently grumpy expression, a Pallas cat mod from a while back also struggled to capture the look of the face.

I lucked out then, they managed to do Lynx just right 👌

You know that everybody at each other's throat comment I made a bit ago, it seems everything has gotten worse and I regret being so critical, so I am going to stop negatively talking about this pack, unless if I am doing a review on it.

I wouldn't get too worked up about it, criticising a dlc pack that is just to be released can trigger some people (cough arid pack cough)

Imo you can see a very clear difference in the fur texture in comparission to eurasia and barnyard (minus cow).
Its not that any of them look outright bad or are unusable, in fact from the distance you will see them in game most of the time you probably wont notice it that much.
Still, taking a step backwards never feels good.

And when you consider that this is a zoo building game I feel justified in my grumpiness if official support ends without these very basic and fundamental pieces for more easily making a realistic zoo.

Honestly this DLC is pretty good, although there are a couple of Zoopedia errors they can fix (these are pretty simple so I hope they can in a patch :))
  • Hamadryas Baboon needs an Asia Tag
  • Spectacled Bear needs the Taiga Biome
  • Spectacled Bear could have the Desert Biome
  • Spectacled Bear could have the Temperate Biome
  • Spectacled Bear could have the Tundra Biome removed
  • African Spurred Tortoise needs the Desert Biome
  • African Spurred Tortoise could have the Asia Tag
  • Pallas Cat needs the Grassland Biome (similar to the Lynx)
  • African Leopard needs the Desert Biome
