Was it ever? I thought it'd already been pointed out that these skins coming off sale (seriously, why remove things from the store?!) on the 21st meant the Mandalay wouldn't get them due to being scheduled for release on the 22nd.

I really don't have enough saved ARX for the high end paint jobs if I am going to get a Mandalay and the 4th ship, maybe if it they had been a fraction of the price.
Stygian Red is one of the colours I was thinking of for the whole fleet but had put off because of the price, then the store changes came in and the less showy alternative vanished.
It would be nice to have Chrome and Gold back but I suspect it will only be Chromed and Golden.
I am guessing it's nott possible to delay removing from the store for a few days?
I've tried to buy some Arx for a few Alt accounts but unfortunately now my bank won't authorise purchase of Arx of my last alt account to protect me from fraud.

Never seen a maker of a product, of which production cost is now fully depreciated, NOT sell the product on purpose.
Why is Ruby not left available in the store? Are we hoping to keep people in some sort of FOMO suspense for another 40 years? The paint job is done, the work for it already paid, the admins already put it in the store where it costs zero to host. It ain't cheap but people are buying it. More people would buy it if it's made available for the Mandalay. Why is it being expired?
Please reconsider your strategy with the store.And while you're at, save the Steam 30% fee by selling ED directly to customers than land on your new store. As it is now, you're sending us to Steam and giving up on 30% of the sale. The only way to buy directly from FDev is to - somehow - find the old store links and buy ED through that. Makes no sense. Edit: they fixed it!

Seeing as the end date for the paintjob was announced at the same time as they went on sale it can’t be the latter.

Excuse me for perhaps being a bit dumb* here but wouldn't the Ruby Decal appear automatically (as in free and available) in all players livery menus now?
I have those (4?) decals in my game menu, but I did choose it when it was first available.
* In my defence, I haven't had my first cup of coffee yet, well, that's my only excuse presently.

My FDL looks gorgeous in metallic ruby read. I'm over the moon that these beauties will be neither a dime a dozen nor two a penny or even 12 a credit!

That was my mistake - I knew the paintjob was time limited but I assumed that we'd been gifted the decal, or if not that it would be available in perpetuity. No idea why a free gift needs a time limit lol. I should probably know better after nine years of these baffling decisions.
