That says more about those viewers I would say...Says something (in my opinion) when they have to put Elite stuff at the end or 90% of their viewers would leave once they did the Elite segment if they had first, for example.

I find it quite interesting to watch what's happening with their other games, simply because they're made in the same Cobra engine as Elite.
Seeing the new additions to the game engine gives me an idea how they improve and expand on it.
As an example, the recent addition of water physics and lighting upgrade sounds rather promising for the future of Elite and takes us one step closer to say water worlds.
It's an interesting thing to watch for me!
That they are interested in Elite and not Planet Coaster for example? That says more about those viewers I would say...
Most of that was tongue in cheek. It was from me anyway. I know full well the version of Cobra in ED is not the one used by their other games. It does imply the possibility if not the eventuality of new capabilities. Maybe one day we'll get AA too.I’d agree, but players have been saying that since the original Planet Coaster’s release.
Interesting statistic how did you find it.Says something (in my opinion) when they have to put Elite stuff at the end or 90% of their viewers would leave once they did the Elite segment if they had first, for example.
Opinion, certainly not an accurate statistic...Interesting statistic Hiw did you find it.
Rat Catcher knows that very little of anything I say is accurate.Opinion, certainly not an accurate statistic...
Ok, digs at myself aside, have you been watching Frontier livestreams and noticed the viewer numbers?Interesting statistic how did you find it.
We thought the same when Frontier made Rollercoaster Tycoon III and speculated that handling crowd numbers would be used in making Elite IV (as we called it back then). There hasn't been any correlation of transferable development across games, at least not obvious to me or maybe even to anyone outside of Frontier. As an example, the recent addition of water physics and lighting upgrade sounds rather promising for the future of Elite and takes us one step closer to say water worlds.
Yes I have watched all of the Frontier Unlocked streams to date.Ok, digs at myself aside, have you been watching Frontier livestreams
No not really.and noticed the viewer numbers?
That many, I would maybe have that running if it were bird song but not roller coasters in the dark. For example, Frontier stream a black screen with rollercoaster noises for 48 hours and the most I saw watching that was about 1,200 to 1,400.
So around 7,000 more people are interested in a live game news event with something to watch than a recording with a black screen and noises.Frontier unlocked streams when they have big Elite news is about 8,000.
Now if you had just included the uncertainty levels at the start nobody reasonable would have questioned your statistics. So yes 90% is an opinion, but it's not that inaccurate (give or take an error margin of ... say ... 90%)
What does that have to do with my post? It doesn't make watching it any less interesting. We thought the same when Frontier made Rollercoaster Tycoon III and speculated that handling crowd numbers would be used in making Elite IV (as we called it back then). Oh and given my 90% margin of error, I could be wrong.![]()
I have plenty of time for you, even if, at times, I may take the mickey a little, but that is just me.Rat Catcher knows that very little of anything I say is accurate.
It'a all good, I wasn't offended. I actually enjoyed the chance to take a dig at myself.I have plenty of time for you, even if, at times, I may take the mickey a little, but that is just me.
I think our other friend missed the context of opinion in your post. On the forum that is altogether too easy.
You were speculating how development in one game would improve the other, and I managed to word my reply in the most non-sensical way possible (not on purpose, I'm just a dingus like that). What does that have to do with my post? It doesn't make watching it any less interesting.
The question will then be how much will be PP2 (Hi All
I presume the Live stream is still going to be shown this evening at the usual time of 6pm?
I couldn't see any announcements from Frontier to suggest otherwise.

The cockpit rugs are just laying the groundwork for ship interiors. The question will then be how much will be PP2 (), misc questions
and 'the new feature'........will the announcement be no more than "oh its cockpit rugs" (and fade out to black) or have....a bit more?
