Dominator Build for Conflict Zones

Please advise on best mods for both suit and weapons.

I already did the required 10 low-threat CZs to unlock Hero Ferrari in this (all empty, no mods):

G3 Dominator
G3 TK Aphelion
G3 Karma AR-50
G3 Karma P-15

The low-threat CZs were absurdly easy to complete. The only problems I encountered were running out of suit battery and gun ammo annoyingly fast, so quite often I found myself running around the settlement looking for recharge sockets and ammo boxes.

So I'm thinking maybe extra battery+ammo capacity for the suit and magazine size for the weapons would be a good choice? Other than that, I'm not sure what other mods to pick.

Please help.

Suit:
  • Combat movement speed (removes ADS movement penalty)
  • Extra ammo capacity
  • Improved jump assist (for an L-6 build, this makes sense - height gives you better chances of hitting the ground next to groups of enemies; it's a splash damage weapon)
  • Increased sprint duration (you can sprint forever).
Primary weapons:
  • 2x Kinematic Armaments L-6
  • Improved sight
  • Increased magazine capacity
  • Stowed reloading
  • Faster reloading
Secondary weapon:
  • Manticore Tormentor
  • Increased magazine capacity
  • Faster handling
  • Improved sight
  • Reload speed
Note that the improved sight is currently bugged.

This loadout should see you complete 4-5 high intensity ground CZs per hour at between 10-16 million credits per CZ (much depends on the layout).

Guns: Double stowed reloading + bigger magazine rocket launchers
Suit: jump assist

Nothing else matters, it does makes combat rather boring though so I have a separate build for AR & SMGs to switch things up.

Since the requirements for engineering have been reduced, I have made a new setup that I call The Terminator.
The Dom suit has
-damage resistance
-fast shield regen
-improved battery
-combat movement

And then two Intimidators
-magazine size
-stowed reloading
-faster handling

It's a fun variant of the double missile launcher. I just walk in the field and one or two-shot one or more enemies at a time with virtually no down time.

I don't have a secondary weapon because I don't want to select it accidentally: shotguns or nothing 🤭

Another variant I love is a quick, jumpy suit with two stowed reloading carbines (one thermal, one kinetic), it's so fun to just run around.

The thing to remember is that each CMDR has their own preferences, and have to find their own best load outs. For me it is a Maverick suit, night vision + battery capacity to start. Then it is an Executioner with a scope+audio masking+mag size+stability, and a Tormentor with audio masking+noise suppressor
range. However, for the low CZs I might take a C-44 for giggles.

Which suit you take is often a reflection of how you want to fight. The Dom load outs are I think more for stand up fights (and accepting more casevacs) and the other end is the Artemis for move hide shoot move.

Very much this.
I never bothered with the Dominator, I always found the Maverick to be more than capable even at G3.
I've only recently got round to G5ing them.
For CZs I go with NV and combat speed, more recently upgraded with extra ammo and enhanced batteries.
Standard sidearm is Tormentor with faster handling, stability and rapid reload.
For CZs I use an AR50 with mag size, rapid reload, stability and faster handling.

This is my default loadout when I fly in the Bubble. Unless I have plans for specific CZ activities, or unarmed stealthruns, I am always running as a silent sniper, for both indoor and outdoor fun!

If you meet me in a bar, in all likelihood that's what I am wearing.

Here's my (non-cheese) build:

I find the layout the biggest factor in terms of credits/CZ. Learning the spawn points helps as when it’s clear you can keep an eye on them and be there ready as the next pod drops in.

I'm a busy war criminal man - it's not cheese; it's efficient. :)
My double L-6 build is specifically for making space cheese.

With 2 L-6s, you'll have a lot of down time if you're not running from spawn point to spawn point.

A bit off topic but I did 30 conflict zones, won them all but still no unlock on the engineer.
What's up with that? Am I missing something?

If I remember correctly there's some delay or you have to relog before the engineer becomes unlocked.
