i have nominated do i get a share of the profits lol, still the best game in my eyes.
I've never really gotten the vibe that the people at the top 'love' Elite. There's been too much hesitant and negligent behavior for that. The way Odyssey was released, for example; was that a gesture of love?
Which isn't to say the actual developers don't love her. The detail put into things like the Titans clearly demonstrates that. But they clearly haven't been allocated the time or resources to make Elite what she could and should be. The sheer number of bugs that have existed for years without being fixed(most crucially at the moment probably being the rotational correction/'thargoid go WHEEEE when a player docks' bug which is GOING to cause a LOT of rage next week when Cocijo hits Sol) indicates that the priority is profit, not love.
Give them the resources needed to fix some of these problems and I'll consider it. Heck, fix the rotational correction bug and maybe a few others (the NPC-controlled fighter targeting issue?) and I'll do it no questions asked.

I'd probably go with "gesture of desperation", but I don't strictly blame them for it - stuff happens...

Separate severs for pc,xbox and playstation, only on of those is still live ,and I don't need to tell wich one.
ED should get a BAFTA award: British game, evolving game, game beyond entertainment.
That's exactly why I initially didn't post. I can't vote for personal reasons, but couldn't justify airing my (minor) grievances here. I typed out two different posts, and deleted both. Neither included made-up figures.
I'd like to vote for ya Frontier, this is just bad timing. I'll leave it at that
