Can we have the upcoming Sol invasions NOT be completed by Saturday? Please?

Thargoid combat around stations is so damn fun. It will be a horrible shame if the community hits Sol so hard that all Invasions are completed by the weekend!

It would be nice if this fun gameplay loop could last for more than a week.

Here's to hoping EVERY invasion is a Very Hard difficulty like Shinrarta was. That was some good fun!

We have no idea whatsoever what is coming. There's a Titan slamming into the system, we might look at a whole area of systems invaded/occupied around Sol.

I don't believe that the arrival of the Titan will go the way which we players expect it. I believe that something else is going to happen than the usual invasions/occupations.
Destruction of one of our planets? The system completely burning? (don't think so) A message of peace?
Let's see - I am really curious what FDev has planned...

I am also looking forward to seeing how things turn out. Hopefully FDev will put their thumb on the scales so that plenty of CMDRs get a chance to fight for the home system of humanity.

Any merit gain for rescue missions?

They [Frontier] have been hinting at another purpose than destruction (which could well just be a side effect the Thargoids are perfectly willing to tolerate), so I’m hoping we’ll get some lore nuggets out of this. Maybe Seo could toss us a hint or two (providing she either makes it out of Duamta if it is one of the locations struck, or Aegis did the sensible thing of moving her somewhere safer and less close to an angry Titan ahead of time) during the defensive campaign and (likely inevitable) pushback.

It’d be a funny and interesting turn if Sol was spared as much or even any destruction because the alert “failed” (from our side) and that allowed the Thargoids to locate what they might’ve been looking for in it (subterranean Guardian ruins on Mars which the Feds have kept under the extremely classified lid?) but it’s probably going to get itself a tough invasion for the combat-happy people.
